Harley Benton Digital Delay 5-stars Reviews
Good Price
Just have to be careful with settings to avoid overkill
Does exactly what they say about it
Nice wide spectrum from slapback to U2 to Another Brick in the Wall. Great build quality, does the job perfectly with what I need it for.
Awesome for its price
Pros: rugged pedal, easy to use, great clarity, kinda pretty blue.
cons: not many features but hey you still get more than you pay for.
What a pleasant surprise
I can honestly say I was really surprised with how well this pedal works. The delay controls and smooth and precise, and the sound is amazing.…..especially at this price point.
Cheap and Cheerful
If you need a delay thats easy to use and not too harsh on your pocket than this is the way to go. Harley Benton have a way of surprising you with gear that costs less and still sounds great.
This pedal is ver easy to use and is a great addition to any board. The sound is very good and if youre like me and you like a little extra raw sound on top, I think this does a good enough job.
There are certainly better delays with more features out there - but for the value of this pedal and for the standard needs of any guitar player, this pedal is the way to go
Great Basic Pedal
A lovely pedal that does everything a delay pedal should and does it flawlessly. Would highly recommend!
Yes, there are better delay pedals.
But this one does what it says, and it does it exactly as i want it. I find the trail to be beautifully balanced against the tone of my guitar.
Plus, for the price, you can get 3-4 different delay pedals and make your own ambient set up for half the price of big brands with equally amazing results.
Keep it simple
I am a blues harp player. I just wanted to add some delay to my amp sound. This peadl does his job right! Not so hard to find a good set up to spice up your sound! If you are not crazy about vintage over-priced thing just go ahead and try it!
Great Value
I needed a delay pedal for a U2 cover- nothing much else really. This pedal fits the bill perfectly. Does everything I need it to do. Also doubles as a reverb pedal when turned low. It is quite big but as it is in my amps effects loop it isnt taking up space on my pedal board
fully justifies
This delay fully justifies my expectations. Thanks!
Nice Delay
For this price, I have no complains at all.
I use it with keyboard and with bass at home and it works totally fine.
Maybe the only critic I could add is that this pedal is a little bit oversized, but that is not a big problem anyway.
Very strong metal body.
The new standard!
This sounds killer. The worst thing is it covers such a wide range of possibilities that getting the sound you hear in your head takes a bit of tuning on the pedal. I?ve found the best results in a slap back setting, the first echos stand out whilst the next note you play is supported by a slightly modulated "reverbish ambiance", also for high ambiance KILLER sound. If you want anything noticably better you have to spend 10x the cash.
Bargain for the price.
I'm not a big pedal user one or two are just fine for me. This pedal sounds more analogue than digital which suits me down to the ground. Basic in design and function, but does all I need it to do. Simplicity is the key word here. For ¤30 you cant go wrong. I know there are more sophisticated models on the market but I like to keep it simple. This is the third pedal I've got from the Harley Benton range and I'm very happy with them all.
Harley Benton Delay
Cool sound. Not to sterile and it's got a good vibe.
You won't find anything similar in this price.
I was looking for a simple delay just to practice some melodies. THIS is what you actually need. Works like regualr delay, additional battery slot. It's good for it's price, no need to write more.
Great pedal for the money
Avery effective delay pedal for such a reasonable price. Easy to use - control knobs allow you to mix effects well. It might lack range if you wanted to use it for playing live.
Excellent pedal, and what a bargain!
Superb range of delay sounds from such an unassuming little beauty, very robust. I'm very glad I bought it.
Nice Delay
Personally, I never know which pedals to have and which to buy, so I went cheap, looked at the rating and hoped to strike lucky.
I bought the delay as research said "have a Delay before the Reverb" so I thought I would give it a go.
I have a Digtech 355 and Ibanez tube booster and I am always trying to combine them or have them alone. I am sadly an old wrinkly who just plays 70/80 rock through a tube amp at home but thoroughly enjoys it (would love to go loud)
I have found that the pedal does help to give a better tone with the digitech and also with the booster. I am trying out different settings but tend to drift back to a conservative one as too much delay gets on my nerves.
I am pleased with this pedal but now the bug has got me and I am researching which to get next, thought about a compressor. Any advice would be gratefully received.
HB- digital- delay
Fantastic delay pedal on a budget,
Great construction, minimal features for the price point, but still very versatile,
This pedal is worth every euro, the sound is everything you would expect from a delay pedal,it would be unfair to criticise as I can't say anything bad about this pedal, just buy one for yourself and see what a 30 euro pedal can buy you I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
Very satisfied for what it's supposed to be
This Harley Benton Digital Delay is, as the name implies, a digital delay but it's voiced to sound and behave more like an analog delay, and so it delivers.
The repeats are darker and more like analog delays out there, I think that it does that work quite well. If you want a pristine clear, cutting repeats you won't find those here, so be aware of this. It has good delay time so that it's pretty versatile, and it will go self-oscillate, together with all your typical experimental noisy tricks without any problems. So far, great especially considering the price
