Harley Benton Digital Delay 5-stars Reviews
I LOVE IT
I LOVE THIS PEDAL. unfortunatly is ugly
Best Delay for price
This delay is great for the price... I got my Edge [U2] sounds in seconds nice repeats and sound box is strong and love the blue finish
Very good product
Pros:
Good Solid construction
Easy use
Clean sound
Does exactly what a delay pedal should do
Cons:
After reaching 3/4 maximum on the "time" dial, the delay time does not get any longer.
Nice delay pedal.
This is another Harley Benton pedal I bought after watching YouTube reviews.
As with the others I have, it is every bit as good as other, more expensive pedals I have tried. It is well built, looks like it will stand up to plenty of abuse & sounds fantastic.
Highly recommended.
Digital delay
It's a simple delay. I like bluesy tones and this really can't be beaten for the price. I use this with a HB VIntage overdrive and the junior power pack through a vox TB 18. I was looking at spending a lot on pedals and thought I would try these first to get the hang of using pedals and they sound great and are so easy to use I won't need anything else as long as they are working.
Lovely ANALOG delay pedal
This is an analog delay due to the decaying signal...which I love! No noise, well built, great value for money!
Harley Benton Digital Delay
A very nice and easy to use pedal. By my ear, it sounds almost like an analog delay, but having said that, this pedal sounds brilliant. For cleans, epic over driven guitar solos, this pedal pretty much covers it all very well.

Good delay pedal!
Max delay time could be a bit longer but that's the only minus for me. It's built to last and works great and the price was reasonable.
Classic Delay
HB digital delay has the sound and easy interface of a classic slapback echo, but has the signal integrity and repeatability of a true digital delay (this really is a digital delay, but be advised, you won't be able to enter 550 ms and have the pedal match that tempo digitally; instead learn to record settings). Use of delay takes a well-trained ear, but this pedal will allow you to start training yourself on the "edgy" art of delay effects. With this pedal you don't need to worry about master settings (50, 200, 500 ms), but the sound is far from basic. With controls for time, repeat and level, it's easy to dial in a sound you like and take it away. The switch is a stompbox style dpdt, with full bypass wiring so it won't rob you of your precious tone when you go to click it off/on.
Right delay for the right price
I used this delay pedal for about a week now and is of good quality i have also purchased crunch drive long time ago from harley benton brand and is very good it works good with expensive as well as cheap guitars.
Th delay yet to be tested in gig situation and I sure will update you , but it does give me lot of confidence . Recomended
Surprisingly good!
I bought this cheap pedal with the mindset of being disappointed. Well, I was proven wrong.
First thing first, I think this pedal is actually an analog pedal. It doesn't have any sort of loop in the circuit so it has to be analog, reusing the original input signal with a decay. I am not 100% sure but it sure sounds more like an analog pedal than digital.
This is just as good as any other delay pedal!
The only negative aspect of the pedal is that out of the box, the "time" adjustor stops adjusting the time at around 3'o'clock. What I mean is when you turn the time up on the pedal, it keeps going up, until you reach 3'o'clock. Then it keeps turning but doesn't change the time. I don't know if this is common or just my pedal. But there is an easy fix to that, as long as you are somewhat familiar with circuitry
Awesome, CHEAP, pedal!
Highly recommend this over a Boss DD pedal
Good pedal
This is good delay pedal for money. It sounds more like analog delay because repeats fade llike analog delay and it is max 600 ms...
Why spend more?
This digital delay is excellent, excellent adjustability loads of sounds to be had but as previously stated, be careful with cranking the Repeat knob up too far otherwise you get ear screeching feedback. Level control is good more of a blend control between wet and dry signal. No need for a more expensive unit in my opinion.
Harley Benton Digital Delay
I bought a little Fender Amp last year and searched a bit for that kind of Rockabilly sound. But I don't wanted to pay a lot of money for a really good delay pedal. And the Harley Benton Delay showed me, that I don't have to pay a lot of money for a good sound. I create that 50s Slapback Delay with this unit and it works pretty well. I was a bit worried because of the word "Digital" in it's name because I was looking for a vintage sound but this pedal sounds fantastic. And it doesn't offend my regular sound when this pedal is part of my signal chain, which was really important to me. I would buy it again!
Great Value Pedal
Love these Harley benton pedals. Inexpensive compared to mainstream brands so you can try loads of them but they still sound and perform great.
Great delay pedal that is quiet in operation (no hiss) and has a true bypass. What's not to like at this price.
best value for money spent
very easy to use, sound quality is great and the delay effect can be changed from very subtle to very prominent.i used to have a boss DD2 and this pedal can produce the same sounds that i used to get from the boss pedal. the only "slight" downside is that the time controls have no gauge whereas the boss pedal gave the exact millisecond delay time. not a big deal but would be useful
Great delay for a very reasonable price. I 've got a few digital delays and analog ones and use them alternately. None of them sounds the same. I find this one really cool and great fun to play with. The box itself is of sturdy metal, with the knobs however I advise to be a bit more carefull, but hey, we are musicians at home or on stage, not construction workers in a rough environment (at, least, I hope so)
These harley benton pedals are built like tanks and will really take some stompin' abuse.
The true bypass, is a great feature for the price. The sounds you can coax from this delay pedal vary from a subtle echo to full on harmonizing double notes. Works really well with a good OD/distortion for metal soloing, or pretty clean sounds for that ambient chill out.
I cannot recommend these pedals enough, if you decide its not your liking, you haven't exactly spent a fortune!
Harley Benton Digital Delay review
Ever wanted to get that extra edge for your solos? The HB digital delay lets you move from a sweet background effect that adds a little spice to your sound - all the way to a crazy delay sound with huge time duration. Everything you need in a delay pedal is here. That being said, its not only the sound and the possibilities that are great; the value for the money is astounding and the reliability is more than you can ask for at this price point. Solid metal casing and sturdy knobs and input jacks really lets you concentrate on you playing and gives you a great delay experience.
