Excellent product for the price

Great little box of tricks. I wish I had found this earlier, I haven't used my pedalbox since I found this. Excellent value for money

Excellent quality at a great price point

I bought this unit to replace a Digitech effects pedal from the early '00s. Both use DNAfx but this unit is so much better in terms of sound quality and user friendliness. It's so easy to get into each patch and change parameters, add effects, change cabinets, and dial in your sound.

Love my knew toy

Liked it so much I had to buy a double neck guitar to go with it.

Great effects unit for the price

Very versatile, with loads of parameters for each effect, amp, cab etc, you can change if you want. I have it in the effects loop of a hiwatt 100W using the clean channel.

I recommend

This little guy right here is amazing, a lot of efects, a bunch of presets and so many amplifiers emulations. I have to be honest and say to you guys that is a little bit hard get used to. The possibility to use a headphone directly into is perfect.

Impressive for the money!

I didn’t expect much for the price but this little box impressed me. Great sounds, useful beats and looper and even the noisegate works great. Highly recommend it although handling could be easier and more intuitive

Soooo good

one of the most powerful multi-effects I've tried. Top sound quality and easy to use via pc interface. Sound is very nice. Possibilities are limitless.

Great all round quality product.

Having given my new Harley Benton DNAfx GIT multi effects board a good going through. I'm completely blown away by the wide amount of different effects and tones on offer. The build quality is excellent! I can't believe the overall quality and value of this product. Harley Benton rocks!

Lots of fun

Very easy to handle, packed with features, but also compact and quite sturdy for it's price. The effect sound quite descent. Great addition for a home band/studio. The only thing I would prefer is and On/Off switch, since it is an electronic device.

Also a little bit more technical information in the manual would be appreciated. Of course the web was helpful enough to find out the rest of the information I needed.

The only thing I'm worried about is the LCD screen. Without screensaver or somehow turning it off, the display will get burned in.

FYI:

Only the bottom plate is metallic, the rest of the housing is plastic.

The DNAfx Editor PC application is an additional interface for controlling the effects, effect parameters and some device settings, nothing more.

Looper records only guitar input signal. Looper recordings can't be exported via USB, but via audio output L/R and are deleted after switching off/on the device.

This is just a fabulous device from a magical land!

You can not buy huge amplifiers. Everything is already in this little box. Connect your guitar and you can play the most famous amplifiers with a variety of effects. From psychedelic to hard rock.

Amazing Effect pedal, works very well with amplified or electric cello thanks to IR

A very sturdy, very great sounding device. In combination with the French cello impulse response it can make an electric cello sound good. Many good sounding effects, headphone out, audio interface etc. Things that could be improved: some things can not easily be managed by the foot switches. A clear indication of the expression pedal function (expression or volume) would be nice. And an undo function for the looper. Still, for the money, an amazing device.

excellent

lots of sounds pre set or do your own, cant argue with the price as usual,

What an amazing pedal

I was incredibly surprised when I first found this pedal, at how cheap it is. The controles do take some getting used to, but once you remember what everything does its a fairly streamlined process.

It has surpluss different amps, so theres almost certainly one that will work for you. You can use up to 9 different effects on each preset, and each effect type (reverb, delay, etc) also have several different variations. You can configure the settings of each effect precisely to your liking.

I also love how I can configure the expression pedal to do whatever I would like. Change the gain level on the amplifier, adjust the rate on my reverb, crank the mix on my wah, are just some examples. Each preset can have its own expression pedal setting. (Note, I recommend you calibrate the exp pedal when you first get it, as I had great trouble at first - the min and max were calibrated fine, but the press toggle was not so matter how hard I pressed, nothing happened).

I was greatly surprised when I first downloaded the software. It works flawlessly, and makes it incredibly easy to create and modify presets. I also love how when I visit a menu through the software or change a parameter such as gain level, the screen on the pedal also adjusts accordingly, and vice versa. I can even watch live the settings update as I press the exp pedal.

I was worried with the price at how good the sound quality would be, but I cannot fault it at all. Sounds exactly like a normal amp.

The rhythm beats provided are fairly standard. There are many to choose from and you can manually input a tempo, or tap one. The metronone works the same, and is a handy feature.

The looper and the tuner also work perfectly as described. I use the tuner as a mute toggle switch, although you can bypass the mute if you like to hear your guitar when tuning.

The pedal feels durable, and I expect (and hope!) it can survive being thrashed around for the next many years to come.

The only things I can criticize about the pedal is how it is difficult to move presets around. I was hoping I could simply drag one above another in software, but all I can do is delete, copy, and paste, so it takes a little more time than I would like. I also do wish it had a power toggle switch. Apart from that, absouletely flawless and 100% worth what I paid!

nice thing

For my home use, the settings are more than enough. The factory presses were not to my liking. Nice tuner, which is clearly visible in the dark. It is very convenient that the tap button flashes to the beat, and you intuitively understand at what frequency the effects vibrate. It's nice that next to each group of effects there is a diode showing whether this effect is on. It is not very convenient to use in the looper mode (although this is a matter of habit), you have to press a lot of button combinations. But very long segments can be recorded, and that's cool! Very light and compact body. The electrical adapter is pulsed - most likely this can lead to unnecessary overtones (but this is also easy to change). Outcome: I'm happy!

Reliable and loyal

An excellent option among similar prices. The processor gives you many great sounding effects and preamps. Of course, the controls take some getting used to, but you will quickly get used to it. I used it in my home studio and it worked well in places. The body looks sturdy. The processor itself fits into the front pocket of the guitar case.

Thanks to this processor, I began to understand better which effects are more attractive to me. I use pedals most of the time, but I really wanted to combine everything in one. And I'm generally happy with the perfect purchase.
