Problem with string action setup
I bought this guitar because I wanted to have a headless guitar. This one seemed like a good bargain for the money at the time.
Generally, I like the playability of the guitar, it feels better even than my Mexican Stratocaster. Also, I like the sound from the pickups. I'm aware that they are some relatively cheap pickups but I think they perform well at this price range.
The main objection I have about this guitar is that string action cannot be lowered below 1.5-2 mm. I think that this guitar would be a killer only if string height could be placed lower.
Good for the price
String actions are too high even bridge screws are at the tightest position. Bridge screws are made of very soft material and pickups are very low-end. But considering this price updating and may be modifying guitar settings for low string level is not a problem.
Quality lottery
On my copy there are problems with varnish, it is not possible to rebuild the desired height of the strings, the screws need to be revised. I knew the pickups were weak, but in fact they are very quiet, and besides, they do not rise to the desired height - there is not enough springy material inserted.
Why make pickups that are 100% likely to be discarded is a crime against nature.
