better than expected, good job with frets, fretboard is dry, but i expected this. Neck is thin and rolled, maybe a bit thicker than a schecter neck. expect tool marks especially in places that are hard to see when playing. The neck feels a like a schecter neck at the first fret but towards the body stays fairly thick unlike a speed neck. Overall the neck isnt as nice to hold as a high-end guitar or even some necks that are under a 1000. However its much better than anything under 300 which is what you should pay for this. The pickups feel dead, they work but there isnt much emotion. I had to intonate the saddles just a bit. The only upgrade you should make is the pickups and maybe getting better volume and tone pots. If you want a workhouse for chord playing and chugging this is appropriate. Playing fast and technical you should look somewhere else for the best experience. This guitar also won't feel as good or look as good close up as a more expensive brand, but getting binding for this cheap is nice. Its fun to have and play, i wish the neck could be swapped with a fender neck, but as is its fine
