Everything I wanted

So, this guitar is everything I was looking for, at a Budget Price… Locking Tuners, Wilkinson Tremolo, Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and Roswell AlNico-5 pickups… It’s not without the typical budget guitar flaws which I outline in the video, but for the money, you won’t find a better guitar… All this guitar really needed to be perfect was a fret polish. Here is a link to a YouTube review I did of this guitar… Any questions just comment and I’ll respond, but spoiler alert, I love it!

Gig worthy without a shadow of a doubt

Hey there, I just wanted to give my two cents on the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH Roasted DB. Let me tell you, this guitar is an absolute steal for the price!

First of all, the tone on this thing is killer. I had it professionally set up when I got it, and now it plays like guitars that cost ten times as much. Seriously, the sound is so snappy and sharp, it's hard to believe that this guitar is so affordable.

But it's not just the sound that's impressive - this thing is built like a tank. I've gigged with it, rehearsed with it, and even given it a fair amount of abuse, but it still looks and plays great. I don't think I've ever owned a guitar that was as sturdy as this one.

And to top it all off, I don't understand why this guitar is cheaper than some of the other HB Fusion models out there. It seems like a no-brainer to me - this thing is just as good (if not better) than guitars that cost twice as much.

All in all, I would highly recommend the Harley Benton Fusion-T HH Roasted DB to anyone who wants a great guitar without breaking the bank. It's a fantastic value, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Love it!

My first HB and this guitar is incredible. I have many guitars (Strats, Les Paul, Squires) and this guitar stands with them all. Feels & sounds great. I did lots of research before purchasing and decided to get one. Don't hesitate if you're contemplating buying one. You won't be disappointed!

Pleasant Surprises

It seems impossible that this level of quality is available at this price-point. Locking tuners, coil-tap, stainless frets… usually you’d pay 3-5 times as much for the same quality. Humbuckers give nice tone, thick and fairly well balanced. Make them single, get tele at the bridge and strat-similar on the neck. There is nothing that can touch this for the money. Great all-arounder. It felt like a risk, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any friend. Already trying to decide which Harley Benton is my next!

Excellent product

This guitar ticked so many boxes in the description that I couldn’t resist ordering one. I am really happy that I ordered this. What I received was an unexpectedly high quality guitar that plays great, sounds quite good, and holds its own against guitars 3-4x the cost in terms of playability. It’s very good overall. (Not “good for the price” - this is a really nice guitar.)

Pros

- I love the neck. Both the profile and the texture. Thick enough to be comfortable for chords/rhythm, thin enough for leads

- Comfortable, contoured heel

- Surprisingly good tuners

- Good fretwork on mine. The ends are dressed well, but the tops are a bit scratchy. Easy fix, and common in this price range

- No paint flaws on the one I received

- Decent pickups. This is the only thing I might eventually replace though

- Good tremolo, if you like Wilkinson tremolos

Cons

- The tremolo is a bit stiff for my taste. I might remove the 3rd spring as a test

- I can’t get the bridge pickup completely level. It has a slight tilt to it. (I also have this problem on a very expensive guitar, and it is somewhat expected for direct mounts)

- The blue is a bit more pronounced than it is in the photos, which are rather muted

- If, by height adjustment, I can’t get the pickups to sound the way I want, I might pursue a set of DiMarzio’s. But they’re not bad at all.

Hesitating? Based on what I received, don’t hesitate. This is an awesome guitar. Even if I end up putting in $250 in pickups, it is still a bargain.

I hope HB create a shred variant of this guitar. With jumbo frets and a thinner profile neck. I’d buy that in a heartbeat as a companion to this one.
