Great guitar!
Just got my first HB Fusion III roasted maple FCH. What a great guitar, the features are amazing, quality is very good, Very happy with my purchase.
High cost performance
I felt that the cost performance was very high for the price.
I think that the wood grain on the top, the tiger grain on the neck, the Wilkinson tremolo and the nested les frets are specifications that are impossible in this price range.
The pitch is also stable when the chord is held down.
If there's one thing I'm worried about, it's that the shield's insertion point is a little sweet and wobbly, so it needs to be adjusted each time.
I think it will be perfect if that is improved.
I am roasted
The guitar came perfect really. The neck board needed some oil love. The pickups needed adjusted down however they tilt when adjusted down low. The neck is great, fatter than a Music Man but much like a Sterling but better much better. Pickups due to midrange HB style do not like tons of distortion but sounds great with Fender type amps. In Helix use certain amps and then many cabs. To me the pickups are a little overwound. Frets are great, no grit. 1/4 inch jack bit loose not great but solid. Setup height strings perfect. A touch of hollowish sound to guitar but not overly so. Yes I would buy again. I also bought bass JP450-p and is good
I bought this as a backup guitar and I haven't put it down since I got it! Remarkably good quality for such a low price.
Awesome Bang For The Buck
The specs, build quality, looks and price add up to a genuine bang for the buck purchase. This quickly became my everyday guitar.
Fantastic
This guitar is well made, professional, plays great and sounds great. You can’t beat it.
A Wonderful Take on a Modern Telecaster
I've been wanting a T-style guitar for years and finally chose this one, mainly because it goes so far beyond a standard one. The sound versatility is reason enough, but the quality and playability of the neck make this guitar comparable to the Fender Duo Sonic I also have. The guitar looks great in person and I don't feel I need to change a thing about it.
5 STAR ALL THE WAY!!!
I purchased this guitar as a favor for my neighbor, because I showed him some review videos on YouTube and he wanted to try one out. So I ordered one, he received it withing about a week and once he opened it up, I knew this thing was a home run right out of the box! The neck is one of the most spectacular flame necks I have ever seen! The roasted satin finish looks incredible - the high gloss finish and applied silver logo graphics on the headstock adds a classy touch. The 1st thing I did after inspection was install a set of Super Slinkys .09s (that's all I play). WOW!!!!! As soon as I plugged this thing into my Fender Mustang II amp, it started to sing like an angel! Running through all the pickup/tone/volume settings, this thing has a huge musical sweet spot!!! The Wilkinson tremelo is absolutely perfect (as the always are). I don't know how they do it, but this thing compares to guitars costing 10 times as much!!! Since using this guitar for a couple weeks now, my neighbor absolutely loves this thing and so do I!!! I love it so much, I just purchased a Fusion-T HH Roasted FBB (Bengal Burst) for myself! I can only begin to describe how great of guitars these really are. Check out the many YouTube videos on these things, and then just buy one for yourself!
Great instrument
For this price I think it’s the best guitar to buy.
Great sound and split coils.
I think that this guitar it’s something premium with better price.
Very nice guitar
I bought it from Japan.
The roasted neck of flame maple sounds good
The wood grain of the body is also beautiful
I was planning to buy an entry class for the Squier Telecaster, but I was able to get a very good guitar with just a little extra.
Thank you
It was easy to buy at this shop
And it arrived at my home in Japan in just three days after it was shipped.
A Seriously Great Guitar !
I was the fortunate owner of 4 Harley Benton Tele Style guitars.
The TE52 NA, TE90QM and the Fusion T HH EB OCT
I love each one of them as, collectively, they provide me with a great pallet of sounds.
I thought that would be enough but I kept going back to the Fusion T Roasted FNT, watching reviews on youtube and deliberating on whether I actually really needed this guitar, as it was very similar, in spec, to my existing Fusion T.
I just loved the look of the neck though and the flame top.
I took the plunge on Friday and ordered one. It had to happen lol
I was definitely influenced by the price point, thinking well at not much more than £300, I had very little to loose.
It arrived today and I am absolutely smitten already.
The guitar is a seriously great instrument and, in my opinion, as good a guitar as I have ever played, irrespective of its price.
The roasted maple neck is outstanding and the stainless steel frets, Graph Tech Tusq Nut and Locking Tuners make it a superb playing experience.
The Wilkinson Trem is excellent. The pots and switch feel great and, regardless of what some people say, the Roswell Humbuckers are wonderful. ( I don't know what the detractors are listening to them through but plugged into my Bugerra V22 Infinium they sing beautifully )
Because of the staggered locking tuners, I don't see the need for the two string trees ( but nice to see they are roller trees ... although a single Graph Tech tree would have been better, in my opinion - although this isn't really a quibble, rather a suggestion ) Also, I will be taking one spring out of the Wilkinson Trem ( another personal preference thing ) - other than that, I wouldn't change a thing .
I had to laugh when I took the guitar out of its box, strummed it and it was bang in tune, after a journey from Germany to Nottinghamshire England ? ... amazing ! ... and the dispatch and delivery were very speedy too.
So if you are considering buying a T style guitar with twin Humbuckers and you have a thousand pound budget, do yourself a favour : buy one of these and treat the wife to a new fur coat ! She will love you for it, you won't get nagged and you will have a guitar worth much more than its price point.
What a guitar!
A low cost guitar? Well, I´m sure that this one just costs few euros. But it's great. It arrived 5 days ago. I just lowered the wilkinson tremolo and changed the set of strings, which were really terrible 10s. I put 9-42 daddario NYXL and....that guitar left me with my mouth open. I mostly play my Fender strat (2004) and Ibanez (2003). Fusion T is just different. Everything looks great, neck, locking tuners, fretboard, body, pups.. Sometimes I find myself just holding it in my hands and staring at it. And I'm not a fan of tele guitars. But that one...wow. And - the most important thing - it carries the sound; it plays great not plugged in, it goes great with my BOSS ME80 and my Marshall Origin 50head. I feel fresh and clean and crispy and bright tones, I feel bass tones, everything is great. And I love to use the split coils for many different sound. I was about to buy some "real brand" guitar, but I couldn't do any better than buying this HB. I'm gonna buy another HB for sure. (Sorry for a long text, but I just fell in love)
Excellent guitar, but fretwork needed
For the money, this is an amazing guitar. Quality woods, quality locking tuners (love them) and a general good feel and vibe. The frets were unfortunately uneven, with some buzzing on the top frets. So all the frets needed to be leveled to obtain the low action that i like. This was done by a luthier and now the guitar plays like a dream. The tremolo is excellent and the locking tuners guarantee that the guitar stays tuned without any huzzle. The pick-ups are definitely ok, but not top notch. With a good overdrive they are excellent, but when you want them clean you do hear the limits. The sounds that you get thanks to the toggle switch are interesting and usable. So definitely for the price an amazing guitar with great features. Some work is required and changing pick-ups maybe an option. But in return you get a pro guitar that is mighty fun to play.
Get one.
This thing looks and feels like an instrument triple its cost. I can't find anything wrong with it. The neck is unbeatable.
A very good guitar for the money
Saw the video reviews and was interested. Decided to order 2 to see if it was similar to buying guitars in shops, ie there is usually a better model when comparing side by side. They arrived fairly quickly to the UK and did find some differences. Such as one was, for me, slightly (uncomfortably) heavier (3.67 kg) and had a neck dive issue when balancing on lap- probably a heavier body and neck. The other one was just on the right side of comfy weight (3.54 kg) when standing. Both had a nice full resonant tone. Also one had better fret work, one some scratchy frets, one neck pocket better fit. Choose one and changed from 10s strings to 9s - easier for bending. PUPs fairly good for the price, single and humbucker tones , but there is a noticeable volume drop, would be great to have some PRS wiring to give balanced vols on different pup configs. Versatile from strong single tones to creamy PAFs, Very happy customer so far. IDEA - other colours with the roasted maple necks (brighter tone)
So Sweet Sound!
But Distotion sound is good, too!!!
Pleased
would have liked to have Seymour Duncan's pickups but for the price you get a lot for your buck.
Excellent Bachata Ax
I mainly play Bachata Guitar (Afro Caribbean Genre from Dominican Republic). The Finish, coil split, and and ergonomic features are great! My favorite feature is the roasted maple neck, and stainless steal frets. Other key features for me are the knobs position (perfect for Bachata thumb-pick technique). This is my favorite Fusion guitar!
Amazing Instrument
I decided to buy this guitar because I loved the idea of owning an instrument with a roasted maple neck. The rest of the features were also too good to miss.
I was initially not very keen on the finish of the body, but I have changed my mind after seeing the guitar in real life and I love it now. From the pictures on the site and many videos I looked at I thought that the fretboard would be kind of dry and dull but it is actually really nicely finished and has kind of a subtle spark in it when the light falls on it. The neck is smooth and has a nice roasted maple smell to it. The neck is a bit chunky, but in a confortable way. It feels thicker than the one on my Classic Vibe 60s strat.
The hardware is nice and the pickups sound amazing. The whole guitar is very resonant and, I might be wrong, but I think it is the stainless steel frets that seem to give it a beautifully bright tone. That combined with the smoothness of the fretboard make the Fusion-T play like butter. The tremolo works great also and the strings stay in tune nicely.
Sadly, my guitar came with a few imperfections in the finish. I think it is dirt caught in the lacquer. There are a few black spots all around the body. The nut is also a bit poorly cut underneath the G string, causing it to ping when I perform wide vibratos between the 3rd and 5th frets. That's easy to fix and I'll handle it the next time I change the strings. The strings provided are also really nice, by the way.
Overall, the guitar is worth the money and maybe more.
