Amazing for the price

I ordered this for my first tube head (Bugera V22) and the feeling of a 2x12 cab really is something else compared to a usual 1x12, from which I upgraded (Boss Katana 50 mk2) from. In the end I kinda regret letting go of the katana and I also regret not getting this cab with V30s or other celestion speakers, because it's just so damn good. In conclusion, another amazing product by Harley Benton, but if you can, definitely go with the cab with V30s, you won't regret it ;)

Blown away

Like every Harley Benton item (guitars, etc) I'm constantly never let down! One of the top 4 cabs I've owned. Bought this w/ the Zombie 2 and what a pair!

Great cab!

I have low wattage amps and only a 12" cab or a 10" combo. The 10" is great for the bedroom as it doesn't over power the low end. The ext 12" cab is great for bringing the sound up and making it fuller. The Harley Benton G212 cab brings out all the nuances of my heads. At this price, I should buy a cab for each head! You'd be foolish to pass this up!

Great cab for the price

This is a great cab for the price. It has handled any head that I have used. You can obviously get better, but not at this price.

If you're on a budget and need a cab that can handle rehearsals and gigging, then look no further.

Great Budget Cabinet

I've had this cab for a couple of years now, running my old Peavey 5150 through it. Way more convenient than my 4x12s, and sounds just as good.

Awesome Cab

I'd been hearing about harley benton cabs matched with something like a joyo amp sounding great and being affordable. This cab specifically sounded better to my ears than the one with the vintage 30 speakers on it, I know, blasphemy..

From what I can hear, it has less high mid range than the v30 version and so the sound is a bit smoother

Sounds good to me, can't fault it especially for the price

I was concerned about getting the generic 'no name' speakers instead of the Celestion Vintage 30s. So I bought both versions of the G212 cab to compare and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the cheaper non-Vintage version. To be fair, I am only using at home at the moment so maybe at concert/rehearsal room volume in a band mix I might have a different opinion. But to me, these speakers sound clearer overall and have more top end than the Celestions which sound a bit muffled and boxy to me (however I think this due to the cab itself, not the speakers). I'm using it mainly clean anyway as the wet side in a wet/dry set up, so these speakers suit my echos and reverbs better than the Celestions in this particular cab. The build quality is excellent. The vinyl covering is more robust than on the earlier version of this cab. And the quality to price ratio is outstanding.

Impressed

If you are tight on money and you need a box... this is the one that you have to choose. I bought it like 5 years ago and i never had a problem with it. I still use it and i don?t need to think on another for the moment.

1 of the best BFYB 2x12's out there !!

Good quality for the price. Produces great sound range from cleans to heavy stuff like stoner metal.

Only con i would say with it is it doesnt have a removeable speaker baffle like the celestion loaded model.

Otherwise ... need a cheap light 2x12" with good sound & mod possibilities .. grab ones of these.

Works great

I have no complaints about this cabinet. You can't beat it for the price. I use it with an Orange CR120 head and it sounds good to me. Recommended.

Amazing quality for the price

I've been gigging with this cab for almost 2 months now, and so far it's worked wonderfully. I play loud Post-Hardcore music, and this cab does the job producing enough sound to fill a venue.

For $166 USD (shipping included) brand new, no other cab can beat this! I would have preferred to have a handle on top instead of on the sides, but that is pretty minor.

I use this cab at home with Marshall Origin 20 head. Very sound, I really enjoy it and you can't beat the price. Great choice if you're looking for a cabinet on budget and/or if you're tired of Vintage 30 that is used EVERYWHERE now.

Great Cab

As many others have said its a great cab, not just for the price. The mono/stereo switching is nice to have. I bought this cab with the intention of replacing the speakers. The only complaint I have is that getting the old speakers out was a headache. The use nuts with nylon to lock them in place. This is nice if you are keeping it stock as it keeps the speaker from shaking loose. However, the nut held on to the bolt too tightly so that when turning the nut, the bolt would simply spin with it. You cannot access the bolt head without removing the grill cloth. So I had to damage the bolt using vice grips to get the nut off. It was a hassle but I eventually did get the speaker out and I rethreaded the bolt and replaced the nut with a normal one. Not what I was expecting but for the price, I can forgive this. I put V-Types in and it sounds great. Seems solid. Not too heavy. How they can make these things and ship them to US for $130+33, I'll never know. But I am thankful. I do think they should consider selling a speakerless version as I imagine many replace the speakers. The stock speakers are ok. Compared to good Celestions you can really hear they are not great. But the cab is quite good and well worth the price. I recommend V-types as a great all around speaker btw. Cheaper but more balanced than their siblings.

Amazing cab

These are amazing cabs at any price, but for this price there is literally no competition.

Excellent cabinet

I recently got this cabinet to use with my Jet City 100HDM. I also had a G212V, but for that amp I felt it didn't sound as good. I feel this cab has a more even response than the 212V, not as much mids and no icepick highs. It compliments my amp much better since it may be high gain but not terribly high. The clean tones are clear and defined but the G212V excels in sparkling clean tones. This amp is better suited for distorted playing.

I gave a 3/5 in quality because there are a few aesthetic issues. The wrap in a couple corners doesn't overlap and you can see wood underneath, there are some scuff marks on the exterior.

Otherwise this cab is great. It is a little more well-rounded than the G212V, although the latter does have great tone depending on what you want. I would recommend this cab to anyone. Again, it excels when paired with a high gain amp but the cleans sound beautiful and warm. If I had several amp heads I could give a more thorough review of its overall tone, but unfortunately I am unable.
