Cheap and qualitative cabinet for different usage situations

Bought this cabinet instead of a car, because needed new guitar cab for new studio.

The cabinet has the ability to use different heads with different resistances, I personally took a mighty 15TH for the studio, connected it to the cabinet and was shocked! The cabinet gave the studio a new lease of life, the sound is very good and spacious, the acoustics of the studio have improved several times. The cabinet can be connected in series to another cabinet, if I’m not mistaken, for larger rooms, but if you need a powerful cabinet for your nine square studio, then feel free to take this cabinet and a mighty 15TH like mine, if you think a 15 watt head is not enough for you then buy a more powerful head.

In conclusion, the price is 10/10, material 10/10, wheels makes easier to transport the cab and sound 10/10! Fully recomend to buy!!!

Decent for the money

Cabinet is OK for the money, if you want better sound, take out speakers and load it with Celestions of you choice, and sell the original speakers, that's what I did :-) Original speakers are not bad, they have more bass then any other guitar speakers I have ever heard but it's easy to fix on the amp EQ. Tolex / vinyl is really soft and easily scuffed, that's the only negative thing. Wheels are OK so far, did not have to change them. Impedance selector is a great thing.

Super can

The Harley Benton 4 x 12 cab is a delight, just like a Marshall with warm mid tones and a killer bottom end and sweat top end, rugged and road worthy, a true work horse, this is definitely the backline cab you want when you out on the road

A beast of a cabinet

A monstrous cabinet. Much larger than i expected. I use it with a boss katana 100w head. The sound is massive even on the 0.5w setting, which is more than enough for house practice. On the 50w and 100w setting the cabinet really show his presence and his might while retaining great clarity. You don't need that powerful of an amp to feel the thunderous force of the 4x12'' celestion speakers. More than enough to gig. It's a very heavy and large cabinet, but easily movable on his wheel. For transports you will need an other set of arms to help you when you meet stairs. Very happy with my purchase.

Great Cab For The Money

Great cab for the money. Nice and clean sounding speakers and a sturdy built cab. Easy to transport too.

Great for Price

I wanted a cheap cab to leave in rehersals suitable for various heads...as one is a Fender with only 4ohm out this was ideal with the 4/16 ohm option in mono.In fact it was the deciding factor as nothing else seemed to offer 4 ond 16!

It is smaller overall than my Marshalls, which suits,I was expecting MDF but this is ply like the vintage version, all good there.

The speakers are unbranded but look robust and sound just fine...this cab performs perfectly well.

The castors however are total junk, and arrived already bent....however Tube Amp Doctor Fender-style castors are a direct fit and worth the ¤25 to have the cab move easily....I included them with an order of tubes and had them fitted in about 10mins.The actual attachment method is good, two screws and two bolts into threaded inserts and I reused the HB fixings.

The "tolex" is soft and will mark easily...again good as the heads are all old and battered,it will match before long!

Overall I'm pleased with this, its basically solid and there's nothing that can't be easily changed out as time passes so I expect to get a lot of years out of it...in fact I think it will be gigged at times as it is that bit lighter and more compact...

Very good cabinet

Excellent cabinet with good sound, especially in that price! The only feature that doesn't have is 16 ohm.

For the price, this cab is brilliant! All I would say is use a thinker wood in the construction to give it a look that matches the sound.

Would definitely recommend \m/ \m/

Harley Benton G412A

I bought this 2010 and been using it almost daily since I got this. Really reliable for playing live. If you need a cheap and realiable cab, this is the way to go.
