best sounding travel guitar

I heard someone playing it, and was relieved - finally, a good little travel guitar that doesn't sound like paper. I added a strap holder button which was my only complaint.

Incredible for the price.

This is simply fantastic value for money. I love the slightly darker vintage/folky tone. Loud enough for bar sessions and small enough to transport easily. Love the built in tuner and pre-amp. Quiet for recording (low noise and decent output levels.

Travel in style.

I now own a few Harley Benton guitars. Having played and owned guitars for the past fifty years you know when a guitar is good. I bought this little guitar as I wanted something that I wasn't too worried about having it lying around or just to travel with. On opening the box it looked really good and of a far better quality than expected. The action was a little too high for me but not a major job to lower it. After lowering the action I found this guitar hard to put down. The sound it produces was far bigger than you might get from a small bodied guitar. A lovely parlour guitar that has been well constructed. The tuners work adequately and it has a great little punchy tone for blues picking. It even came with its own travel bag, bonus. So if you're looking for something to just have lying around to pick up and play or you're on your travels you can't really go wrong with one of these especially at this price point.

A gem - a real bang for your buck / euro / dollar....

I wouldn't call it a 'traveller', rather more of a 'portable'. It's surprisingly loud (the A string in particular) and stays in tune (with some occasional tweaking) - one great feature is the little built-in tuner. The fretboard is ideal if (like me) you don't have massive manly man-hands! This will be my go-to practice instrument so overall - recommended.

It's amazing

For the price, I think this is one of, if not the best guitars you can get. Strongly recommend!

Wow. Harley Benton does it again.

Already using a solidwood mahogany HB acoustic as my main touring guitar, and owning several other HB models, I was expecting a pretty decent guitar for the money when I popped this little travel guitar in the basket. I intended to just take it on holiday in order to take up a bit less precious room in the car.

However, this thing sounds good enough to use on stage, so I now use it live for alternate tunings. Better still, it plays like an absolute dream. It was set up perfectly out of the box and I didn't even have to do so much as file a fret end. HB absolutely nailed this one! Get two!

Fabulous for the price!

The build quality on mine was fantastic - perfect! The acoustic sound is 4/5. It is a small guitar and cannot project as much as a larger guitar. Plugged into my Roland amp it was amazing. A really rich full sound with no piezo quack. I am going to use it for open mic nights, weekends away etc. If I had to, I could do a gig with it - the pick up is impressive. The playability is great, it responds to every touch. I have several more expensive guitars and this one really is as good as the other reviews said.

Fabulous guitar and fantastic value

Received today and can’t put it down. What a fab travel guitar, looks good, well made, great set up and sounds fabulous with a nice warm tone also sounds great plugged in to amp. Has onboard tuner, comes with battery, plug in lead, allen key for truss rod and a good padded gig bag. No negatives, as a slim build adult this guitar is perfect in size. I have played many acoustics over the years and this guitar is up there with the best so don’t delay, buy today 😃

AMAZING!

I own about 20 guitars, mostly acoustics, and this is my favorite. It's even better than some of the name brands. I love the smaller size, without compromising at all on sound!

Fantastic Travel Guitar Immense Spind!

I purchased this guitar after reading a number of reviews. I just wanted a guitar I could use easily while sitting on a sofa and for easy transport. I only realised the loudness of the guitar when a guitarist friend came round and was astonished at the sound and builds quality. Added to this it has a built in pickup. Brilliant guitar punching well above its weight! Price a no brainer!

Mindblowing

I already had a Harley Benton Telecaster, which I am very happy with. Then I bought this. Perfect intonation right out of the box, no fret-ends, no adjustements, great playability and sound and looks amazing. Even better that the Youtube videos
