The best for the money

A very good amp for beginners and others. Compact and not very heavy. So much effects in one small box. 5/5 very good 👍

Very Good Amp

This amp is amazing for beginners. It makes a relatively good sound, easy to "set up" aka plug in, connect guitar, turn it on and play around with the settings. Only things I had problems with is that the handle is a bit tight for my hands and that the drums were a bit too loud. So not much to complain about honestly, a really good buy.

Returning player

To give a little information, I'm someone who played a lot when I was a teenager, more or less didn't play for 15 years, and have recently got the idea to start relearning and playing.

What I need is something that doesn't take up a lot of space, doesn't require any messing around, and sounds good enough. It ticks all those boxes for me. I'm also enjoying outputting the sound through headphone jack on the back, as when you are learning/relearning it's a little easier to make mistakes that you are the only one that hears.

For the price, I can't really argue with anything.

Kept this instead of mini katana

I like that this amp allows you to have reverb and delay effects and four others. The amp models are ok, I use the clean ones only. It can go very loud for its size and it’s very sturdy. The only oddity I have experienced is that it can do something strange if the input signal gets a little too high, but you just dial things down and it’s ok again.

A really great amp

This little amp is fantastically good value for money. It sounds great and has more features than some similar amps that are twice the price. I have used it with electric and electro-acoustic guitars and it not only has a multitude of sounds and effects but also has a great clean sound. I would definitely recommend it. Another great Harley Benton product,

Impressive

Bought this as my sons first amplifier, I was seriously impressed with the sound quality and effects in this lovely looking little amp. I find myself plugging into it regularly, and for the money you really can’t go wrong here.

Great

Got it mainly for the effects. Everything works great though the headphone output is a bit crackly.

Good amp

It has 15 watt output power. With this amp you don't need to buy any pedal initially. It has build in effects. I am happy to buy this amp as a beginner.

Nice amp

I actually own one and that little guy is fantastic! Yeah, the sound is not a strong side of exactly my sample, but it's still cool for its price! Lots of effects on the board, different amps and all this for a little price! Very pleased with this amp.

Good for home practicing

I bought this amp as a beggiber and it suited my needs very well.

As I got better playing you feel that lack some specs that better amps have but it’s still good to practice at home with a clear tone

Probably the best practice amp for the money.

This little guy really packs a punch and is delightfully versatile. For what it is, it does its job perfectly and provides a lot of decent tones for a beginner player when they are just starting to discover their style. You can easily go from practicing some clean or crunchy stuff to outright extreme metal (which I personally prefer) and play around with built in effects without a need for dedicated pedals.

I also own the immensely hyped Blackstar Fly 3 and I have to be honest that while the latter may be one of the best near pocket sized amps, this HB outperforms the Fly in every other aspect. Which actually is surprising to me, because a friend of mine had a much older predecessor of this Harley Benton amp and boy did it sound terribly screechy with no low end. With this new version, you get full bodied pleasant tones (not speaking in recording terms, although I can't see a reason why one couldn't record a respectable demo with this amp). It goes to show that over the years, Harley Benton has come a long way in terms of sound and quality and the reviews here don't lie. Going in a little bit sceptic into this purchase, I'm now more than pleased.

Only con I can think of is that while there are a plethora of built-in beats to play to, it doesn't feature a simple click metronome which would be far more useful. Also the selection of the backing track and its tempo could be more intuitive. Then again, it does have an AUX input as well so you can easily practice to whatever audio file you want.

All in all, a highly recommended purchase for this price.

Small but mighty!

A small factor amplifier which gives lots of fun.

Its 15W are really loud for a room, but might be perfect for small gigs or big parties.

The emulated amplifiers feel... different, giving an impression of the intended sounds. Of course it doesn't sound like a lamp amplifier, but it also doesn't make you carry around a dosen of various pedals.

It perfectly does its job and lets you switch between sounds and music genres at a click! (actually at a switch)

You have all the sounds and effects you need to play any music.

Did i mention it is light and compact???

The rythm option provides you an extra band member, and the gig is on.

I still have to figure out the exact options for it, but it's quite intuitive in handling by pressing the buttons.

Overall it's a fantastic piece of equipment at a fraction of price compared to other "big/famous" names!!! And why would you pay more if you have this bargain?!?!

Great for home practice

There are all the connections you need to have fun. I just connect my phone to it and playing solos on my favourite backing tracks. Affects are fun too. Would like to have an option to use batteries instead of mains cable but that's not an issue.

Little monster JamBox

Well, when I searched for a some little combo up to 20W, there were a couple of variants:

20W and 40W Harley Banton Combo and a few others made by different companies.

But, when I found this little guy - ordered it at the same moment.

And that was a really good decision because it's really the best combo for apartments.

Pros:

1. Compact

2. Powerful - 15W, completely enough for apartment. Never played on more than 60% of loudness.

3. A lot of effects and, actually, they sound good.

4. Excellent distortion. If I could know that it is so good - I would not order distortion pedal.

5. Drum-machine.

6. Price

Cons:

1. It would be nice if in effects would be looper. At least 30 sec. It will be absolutely killer-combo, I swear.

2. It can't play from 9V battery.

3. This kid can't fly

If you order this little monster - you'll get a really powerful combo with really great functionality for a good price.

I can recommend this combo for everyone who need metal monster for apartments.

Very good, for the price

I bought this amp because I wanted a cheap amp for practicing at home. Since I am not a musician, I don't have the need for an expensive amp to which I can connect a variety of pedals and control every aspect of the sound it produces. I should say I was very pleasantly surprised with this little marvel, since it has so many effects to play with, it allows you to have hours and hours of fun very cheaply. I honestly think it is everything a begginer or a hobbyist can wish for
