Great guitar for the value

Got this guitar as something to keep in standard tuning and for more of a pop punk vibe away from another of metal that I usually play. The cleans pff the neck p90 are unreal for the price and really shine , although the bridge pickup I find lacks a bit of punch but i will be replacing it with a HB, overall quality of the guitar was good right out of the box and playable ,had to do some minor adjusting and found a tiny chip in the pick guard but didn't bother me as I'm replacing it with a black one. The rest of the guitar neck body etc was in great shape however . Overall if your looking for something for starters, a mod project or to go busking with or wanna carry around , this is a great guitar for it , would highly recommend

Amazing quality & playability

I don't know why, but I seem to get on better with inexpensive guitars. This JA 60 is no exception. I pick it up as frequently, and enjoy it as much, as my other guitars - some of which cost many times as much as as this.

Unbelievable value for money

Harley Benton products are incredible value for money, they are great guitars to play and very well designed. My latest purchase is flawless. I am very pleased.

Outstanding playability.

Hand down the most comfortable playing guitar I own. Made a few hardware upgrades, and man, I own guitars that cost more, but this one beats em all. Absolutely would buy again. And probably will!

I love Harley's : )

This one I bought for a lady friend of mine.

From my 1 week impression, Helluva guitar, small and light, and the pickups are just MEAN. super versatile!.

No cons that I could see. It looks VERY easily moddable and adjustable, all the parts sit well in their place.

btw I told her like 1000 times to set it up nicely to elixr 9's but she still didn't do it and she gets great sounds from it.

The Rating is mine but im sure she'll agree.

Can't be beaten at this price range

I wanted a offset guitar for a long time so I bough this just to see if it's something I will dig, in the end it became my second guitar for gigs, I have a Telecaster with a chopper in the bridge position as my main, but this one is just great for my taste.Just polish the frets a bit, and you are ready to go.

P.S. I wrote this after using this guitar for more than two years.

better than you have any right to expect.

Really nice for anything under $ 500 to $600. And at the price point it is great. Only minor setup was required but I am a luthier so I do setup on all guitars. Wasn't sure I would be keeping the pickups but they sound good at this price you expect to replace tuners but these function

A Mixed Bag of Pros and Cons

SOUND: The guitar's tone is amazing. Sounds just as good as the $1k+ Fender Jazzmasters.

QUALITY: Here's where I have an issue. The parts themselves are all good quality, but I'm unable to intonate the 6, 5, and 4 strings (E,A,D). Even with the bridge saddles all the way in (toward the neck) those strings are not intonated at the 12th fret. The only explanation is that the actual bridge position is to far toward the tail of the guitar. It's only a centimeter (if that) of difference, but when it comes to intonation, it makes all the difference.

SUMMARY: I understand that these guitars are at a beginner price point, but they truth is that they are better than that. My TE-52 set my expectations high after it ran circles around my Fender Tele. I'm a gigging musician so intonation matters to me.

I will continue to buy HB guitars, because I think they art an absolute steal for the price, but I want to be honest in this review about my experience.

My hope if that Harley Benton will step up their QC a tiny bit to account for these types of mistakes. Without this bridge issue, I would have literally nothing wrong to say about this guitar.

В этой электрогитаре

Of course, I am not a master and in general I have only recently started playing the electric guitar, but I will say this: Harley put high quality material into this guitar, great sound and accessibility (price). Thank you very much, Tomann, for delivering me a quality product.

Love it

Fretboard needed some oil, but that's it! I play pretty aggressively and it never goes out of tune. Very happy with it.

Whaaaaaaaaa?

I have no idea how they did it but Harley Benton have made a real gem here. The sunburst is as nice as any you are going to get in the sub £500 bracket (I mean that) and it plays great, holds it's tune and has a fantastic range of tones. Anyone looking for a straight Jazzmaster copy might be slightly disappointed as this is slightly smaller in the body yet has a more resonant, weightier tone. Almost as if a Jazzmaster and a Les Paul had a baby. Very cool guitar at an unbelievable price. I don't care who you are, you should think about getting one of these. For the money you cannot do any better.

If it only had a whammy bar

Love this guitar have used it for three recordings since i've owned it. Fit and finish are great, sound is very authentic, but MAN I WISH IT HAD A WAMMY BAR!

Great guitar for the price as all reviews state. My only problem is, and it's a personal thing, the tune-o-matic bridge with the 25.5 scale gives a quite a bit of string tension. I find it difficult bending strings. That does give a bit of punch to the sound but feel the tune-o-matic system is better suited to shorter scale Gibson style guitars.

Great P 90 Guitar

I was looking for a P 90 pickup guitar. I had seen reviews on the web, so I decided to get it.

The guitar is beautiful, plays and sounds good.

For the price you can't go wrong.

Excellent JA style guitar

All opinions subjective and based on my limited playing ability.

Cosmetics excellent, no blemishes to speak of.

Tuners work, they're not amazing but they do fine.

Nice fat P90 tones.

Frets are finished ok, they need a polish and protrude slightly- not sharp but definitely 'present'.

Amazing guitar for the beginner

I've been searching for the first guitar so long and I've finally found it!

There is so comfortable fretboard, frets, such beautiful body, good tuners and good sounding pickups.

I can't find any cons in this guitar for this price. I absolutely love this!

A keeper

After a year or so after buying….

This guitar is a keeper. I reshaped her neck to a slimmer profile and changed pickups for Classic Vibe ones.

I never owned a true Jazz Master or even a CV, but I ‘m not interested in one , for now.

This one does it for me. Smooth , sweeter sounding , (hard tailed in this case) strat. I guess Leo Fender was thinking of the in between position 2 and 4, when building her. The mid range spectrum .

She stays.
