Harley Benton HB JA-60SB Vintage Series 5-stars Reviews
great guitar
I am very happy that I bought this guitar. I always wanted a Jag-body guitar, without having to pay a fortune for it.
It is easy to play (no adjustment was needed after outboxing) and the workmanship is to my surprise flawless.
The sound is great too. Cleans are not as sparkly as my Hamer Srat, but it beats it easily when disorted.
The only con in my eyes is the pickguard, lets face it, it is ugly:) I might change it later...
But all in all it is a great guitar. And the price... ridicolous! I would still be happy with it if I payed 2 or maybe even 3 times the price!

Amazing quality for the price. The set up out of the box was perfect, two minutes to tune and this guitar sounds very good. Never had a guitar with P 90's, not the versatility of a strat but some unique sounds. Again first class service. Thanks Rob.
Extremely Good!
For just over a hundred pounds including shipping I wasn't expecting much. And thought worst case it can be a spair slide guitar. BUT, this guitar was awesome straight out of the box! Nice round C shape neck, jumbo frets, extremely light and resonant. Has all the jazzmaster floors ironed out (useless trem, too many switching options). Great sounding alnico pickups and above all something a little different! After playing guitar nearly 30 years and owning over 300 guitars I'm very critical of them, this guitar is very, very good!
Blown away for £100!!
first impressions where, WOW this cost me £100! The sunburst finish is really nice.
Having given the guitar a once over, checking all the usual's like action, tuners, fret levels, neck bow etc... I plugged it into my HT1r and I was equally impressed.
I own lots of guitars, from £50 tele copies to Gibson les pauls and everything in between.
The hardware seems pretty decent and I haven't found any problems with anything. Pots and pick up selector all work well and quietly, pick ups give that very familiar p90 sound.
The best position for me, is the middle position, awesome with a bit of delay for some funeral for a friend type cleans.
Overall build quality is good, no fret buzz, tuning holds well, action is pretty low and it sounds good. You wont be disappointed.
Dose happiness come so cheap
I'm in love,,i love the feel of this guitar,I love the look of this guitar, retro features,,and the sound is warm bluesy feel..all other guitar makers might as well shut the doors..my American strat I payed 1200 euro for will stay in the case, any maker that make players so pleasd for 129 euro, has my vote every time.
New Classic
Attractive vintage looks, sturdy neck, nicely layed out controls with two P90 pickups. It has a nice balanced weight, which makes playing very comfortable. The pickups are powerful, but clean, and the fretboard and frets feel just right. A stylish guitar, and a joy to play.
Quality Copy.
This guitar is such a good instrument. Although not an exact copy (P90's instead of Fenders version of the pick-up) it functions better than any copy I have tried or owned.
It is also about half the cost of the nearest competitor that I know of.
Lovely HB finish as usual, a fairly wide neck and a vib. that actually works!
I own 5 Harley Benton electric guitars and they are all outstanding value for money and I have to say that I am really enjoying playing them. What more can you ask for?
