Best value for money purchase.

You cannot expect anything more for that price. After a good setup you are good to go. Used it live DI and never had issues. The only con is that is that the materials used don't look really durable.

Incredible value for money

I actually bought this about 8 years ago and only really pick it up when I am recording every couple of months but every time I do I don't want to put it down again. I still cant believe I got such a great sounding instrument for so cheap. I actually teach music full time and always recommend the Harley Benton brand to any students who are looking for advice on buying an instrument for the sole fact that you can get a really high quality instrument and not have to brake the bank.

Ok bass

Plays ok, a bit buzzy, nothing special

Good to start practicing acoustic bass

Surprisingly good

It's an acoustic bass, so you never expect too much at this price point. This bass however was surprisingly louder than expected and the quality is excellent. It could never stand up against a well known brand, but it comes close. So why spend big on an acoustic bass when this one will do the job convincingly.

Just ok...for the price

For what I paid, and what I expect to get out of it, sure its fine. Significant amount of buzz in the E string. It plays "OK", but nothing stellar. The sound is not terrible and the volume is OK. All in all, just an average acoustic bass.

Good value for money bass.

Exactly as described and affordable. I bought this for learning to play at home and it does the job very well. I particularly like the onboard tuner. Very happy with my purchase.

Very affordable and great-sounding guitar

It might a bit difficult to play but the sound is fantastic. Guitar is loud enough w/o amplification to play alongside acoustic guitar.

For the price i'm more than happy with the purchase.

HB B-30 NT BASS.

This bass (which I will convert to a Low 'B') is, for me, a much better bass than the B-35 -- the strings on the B-35 are much too close together for comfortable playing. It's a pity that they put such a heavy coating of polyurethane on the soundboard -- this I will remove, right down to the bare wood, then apply one single thin coat of yacht varnish;; after stripping out the piezo strip pickup and replacing it with a magnetic jazz pickup, this will be a true ACOUSTIC that can also be played through an amp -- a good bass at an affordable price!

Weak sound, fretboard feels really cheap. Pickup works ok but it's hard to get a good sound from it. Quality is ok considering the low cost, but it's not a pleasant instrument.

great for beginners!

i bought this for a friend, and he's had it now for a few years. he's very happy with it.

it's not the easiest instrument to play, but damn it's good for getting those, all important, left hand muscles working when you're a beginner. for sure, it is worth the asking price!

pros: price, construction, come with good strings, preamp and tuner

cons:

a bit hard to play
