DÃ¥rlig kvalitet

Har hatt denne i kort tid, og endte med å bare sette den bort. Var ikke mulig å bruke lenger, da halsen har slått seg og det er høye bølger i gripebrettet. Anbefales ikke.

Sold It

This guitar sounded good acoustically. Electrically the volume needed to be put on maximum. Maybe the preamp was bad. The treble needed to be put near maximum. The action was slightly high at the nut and saddle for a classical instrument. I really liked the cutaway design.

Intonation wasn't good. It wasn't the worst but it was not good enough for me. The finish was nearly flawless. On the bridge there was a rectangular inlay under the thick finish. It wasn't centered side to side. That annoyed me. Such a simple thing to adjust. It wasn't the type of inlay that was set into the wood. It was the type like a sticker that gets placed on top, similar to headstock labels. These disappointments meant that it didn't get played very often. So it was sold to a beginner player.

This was the first of three HB instruments that disappointed me. I doubt I'll ever buy another HB instrument without examining it first. I live in the USA.

One month review.

A little background:

I bought this guitar almost a month ago since my old guitar developed a few dead frets. I have been playing since one year. I wanted a guitar to play daily and improve my technique, therefore, did not want to spend a lot of money.

Modifications:

Replaced the original strings with Knobloch CX Carbon Double Silver 300 ADC.

Guitar review:

The guitar looks clean and has an attractive finish. I did not quite like the initial out of the box sound. But that is not a big deal since it takes time for a new guitar and a new set of strings to settle in. However, I did replace the strings as I have had researched that these Knobloch strings can make an all laminate guitar sound much better.

The body is not that strong. I usually keep my capo attached to the top of headstock. I was surprised to see that the guitar is losing polish from the area where the capo is attached. Even though, the capo is made of rubber. Furthermore, I tried to take off the tuner to see something, while tightening the screws back in, the wood kinda got messed up and it felt like the screws, if tightened anymore, will break the guitar.

Coming to the sound of the guitar, I absolutely love that. This is the one thing that makes me forget about the above mentioned shortcomings. The knobloch strings have settled in quite well and the guitar is sounding better with each day passing by. I have a feeling I'm gonna keep this guitar for a very long time.

Conclusion:

Are you an intermediate or a professional player? You can get better guitars around 150-200 Euros. Since you would be experienced, you won't have to worry about damaging the guitar anyway.

Are you a beginner? I wanted a cutaway guitar to allow me to play higher notes. I play, and learn to play, melodies and solos. Thus, if you need a cutaway too, I'd recommend this guitar. For 89 Euros it is a great deal. Just remember to replace the strings with Knobloch CX Carbon Double Silver 300ADC, that's what I did. If a cutaway isn't a deal breaker for you, it would be an option to buy an old guitar within the same price range. You could get used Yamaha guitars within 100 Euros.

P.S: I have no idea about the electric o/p since I don't own an amp just yet.

HB Classic guitar

All-round good guitar - good intonation, good sound but pick-up is below the standard - they fitted better pick-up on cheaper models?

Nice guitar like a harp.

The instrument is interesting in terms of sound and quality.

Quite good wood was used and you can hear it.

The neck is quite wide. The socket outlet could be centrally on the axis of symmetry (more practical).

I personally dismantled the piezoelectric transducer and use the instrument without harmful radiation. Keys without flaws hold the outfit. The thresholds do not need to be adjusted. The stands on the soundboard, if desired, can be lowered very low, allowing the strings to run slightly over the frets. We touch the strings like a harp. In my opinion, a product worth recommending. I recommend without electronics.

The thresholds could be a bit bigger. An individual matter. The markers on the edge slightly subtract from the classic charm.

I suggest 4+. Logo on the headstock unnecessary. This is, in short, in my opinion. Sounds like a harp.

I use the instrument in music therapy.

Sounds great

This guitar looks great, sounds great, and is good value for money.

The downside is that the playability is average at best, it would probably get better with new strings. The strings usually sits lower on a more expensive guitar.

The workmanship is much better than expected, the finish is really good.

The sound from the pickup is really good as well.

HB CG300CE NT

Got this as a secondary/practice guitar.

Well built for this price-range, and with some tweaks makes a great practice instrument (perhaps even more than just a practice instrument)

Acoustic sound is very much capable, on the other side pick up isn't great sounding, but with slight tweaks on the eq it can be enough for a small venue performance.

Very much recommended for beginners as a great budget guitar with a lot of potential!

For the price, you can't go wrong. This is a good instrument to take to the beach, with colleagues, without worries about damaging it.

The string action is a little bit high, it's not a slim in body nor in the freatboard. It's more a classic guitar ( i mean classical ) with cutway.

Don't expect MUCH from it, but I would say that unless you are kneen to pay 300 plus in a classci guitar, you should buy this one.

Excellent first guitar

The action is quite good cosidering the price of this guitar. I still consider it a great guitar for someone who wants to give a try to music.

If you are a little bit handy you can upgrade the nut and the saddle for just a few pounds and the sound will improve a lot.

Good guitar, good quality, fretboard cracked

GOod guitar, has very well quality however after a week the fretboard started to crack which I believe is from the dryness of the board. However this guitar plays really well.

Nice guitar. Beautiful neck. Sound has a rich voice to it. Overall build quality is very good.

A set of Normal tension strings suits it quite well, so get yourself a new set for your initial set-up. The guitar will settle-in over a few days and you are good to go!

The saddle and nut that comes installed are fine. I put a new saddle on my one, sanded nice and low and put in a new nut also. Man, that solid spruce top is singing now!

Very good choice for low budget

Based on the price of this guitar its a great option for someone who wants to play/explore classical tunes. Easy to play and also the jack allows to record as well.

Great Value

The guitar exceeded my expectations. Mine came with a few high frets. After doing minor fret work and lowering the bridge some, it became a very nice player. The fact that you can amplify it is nice as well. Highly recommend it. Cheers.

Excellent sound quality

This Guitar produces high quality tones for its price. I bought this for a friend and after trying it for a while. I must say it is a right choice. The build is durable, the finish is high quality and it stays in tune even after long plays.
