good for its price

It's a pretty good guitar that works with Neural DSP amps. However, it needs some luthier work for optimal performance. I did not experience any major defects other than very small part missing which you can hardly see from the decoration (wings) part which does not affect the sound.

Very good sound, a good option for a good price

Worth every dollar!

Took almost a month and international shipping to Australia cost more than the guitar price itself but it's worth every dollar!

All my friends want to buy it from me but hell no! not in a thousand year!

easy conversion

bought this guitar as an experiment, it is a nylon string classical guitar, this guitar is built like a brick house, I installed a set of extra light acoustic steel strings and it is still going strong. The only fault with this guitar is the same as all roundback acoustics in that they tend to slide off your knee.

Nylon string guitar

Great playing and sounding guitar. Had to do some fret filing but nothing to to bad and at this price I don’t mind doing a little work.

Nice guitar for the price

Out of the box the action was very high making the the guitar largely unplayable, however this was rectified with truss rod adjustments and removing the bridge saddle and sanding it down to my preferred low action and the guitar now plays beautifully. Sharp, poorly dressed fret ends right across the neck which will benefit from dressing. The leaf motifs on the soundboard are glued on and not inlayed. Onboard electronics are okay. In summary, a nice guitar for the price if you are able to make the necessary set up adjustments.

Excellent for the price, but...

This is very well made and I think it sounds pretty good too. It has a neck that, as an electric guitar player with some arthritis, I find very comfortable. It's like an oversized strat neck, sort of. I like it.

The guitar needed some work to be made to play nicely, and as I do guitar setups that isn't a problem for me. But anyone buying one should be aware of this. Mostly it was OK...good construction and finish, tuners and piezo electrics worked...but there were some very rough fret ends and, although the fretboard is radiused, they put a flat nut and bridge on it like a conventional nylon string guitar so the outside strings were very high. I did some filing and polishing to curve them to the radius, and now it plays great...but it shouldn't have been necessary to do, especially as someone could do it poorly and damage their guitar.

Super Quality & Sound

The guitar arrived in perfect condition and the set-up was spot-on requiring only re-tuning. Intonation very good!

Good guitar for the price!

Bought this on a whim and don´t regret it at all. Took a little bit of cleaning when I got it but after that it has been great. Do wish the tuners were a little bit of a higher quality but it does stay in tune. For the price its a good buy !!

Best deal I know of

For 111.00 and 90.00 shipping to the USA Not bad. I could've spent 150 more and got something here slightly better. But this purchase was well worth it. The guitar is beautiful.I haven't noticed any cosmetic flaws. The tuners and nut and saddle are cheap so I have to tune a string or 2 the next day when first picking it up.Nothing major. That can be fixed with some bone blanks. For the price I'm not complaining at all. Ive been playing 30 years and haven't had a nylon in years. I wish the electronics included a tuner. So get a snarky.But I'm going to change that the moment a control becomes loose or scratchy. If I had known I would have bought a resonator guitar along with it.No point in paying the high shipping twice So if I can expect this type of quality and service I'll just have to come back

Good musical instrument

I bought this guitar because I love the way Yngwie Malistin's nylon string solos sound. I played this guitar in line 6 spider and the sound was great. It is necessary to sharpen the frets around the edges a little and everything will be great.

Great guitar for this price

Bought this guitar to practice at home. Stock strings sounds awful, you should change them as soon as possible. Then it'll sound pretty well.

This guitar is very different from normal one: it's thin and it has rounded back so it's hard to handle it without belt (so you should buy it too).

In some reviews I've read that there could be some problems with quality, but my version if cool.

When my guitar arrived I inspected it very carefully for manufacturing defects like: Straightness of the neck, the action, edges of the frets all down the neck, blemishes or damage and the sound.

The guitar passed all of my tests with flying colours. The only possible criticism would be the quality of the strings - but if that is my only slight 'criticism' which can be very easily remedied - Not bad !!!!

After watching hundreds of Youtube reviews on HB quality, I'm disappointed

For the money I expect a few minor defects. One at the base of the neck below the fretboard was extremely obvious. The rest of the finish was fine.

The setup was poor. The action was high, the neck bowed and a good deal of buzzing. Also the frets on both sides of the fretboard will bite you they're so rough. If I keep it, it will take several hours of work to get it in shape.

Maybe it's the luck of the draw. It's my first HB and the reviews online were all raving about overall quality of their products.

Great price and delivery. No complaints; for the money its excellent. Straight out of the box after tuning and a bit of string stretching + battery fitting (which was supplied) i'm happy. I'ts only used in the home so can't comment on its suitability for anything else.

Great value for money guitar

Basic but fine

It's a basic guitar, but the relation quality/prize is very good. I've change the original strings and the sound is better. I think it's a good choise for start to play a guitar or to have a spare guitar.

Pleasantly surprised by this. Sounds and plays great, only downside was supplied strings. Changed them to a set of high tension Savarez and it really improved sound. Its also deceptively loud for its size.
