great for the price

Bought this guitar for my son as a guitar to learn on Very easy to play, nice action, smooth neck and comfortable fit. Surprisingly pleasant sound for a guitar at this price range, doesn't have full rich tone and acoustic projection leaves a little to be desired when unplugged but all the notes ring true and guitar holds it's tuning well. Electrics work fine, again, not the best sounding guitar in the world but certainly no complaints at this price. Ideal beginners guitar.

Aesthetically it has the look of a more expensive guitar and the finishing is perfectly acceptable, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a decent guitar to start on.

Happy Harley

Cheep and cheerful sums up this guitar. Good pre amp and pick up with little background hum. The instrument is comfortable to play and the intonation and tuning are good. One or two flaws in the finish and the frets are unpolished which means you cannot bend strings without a scratching sound. The satin neck is slightly chunky but better that than so thin it warps. Machine heads are good quality and the nut well adjusted. As supplied the action is average, there is no battery for the pick up but it did come with a lead.

I fitted mine with ball end nylon strings and it sounds rather nice, jazzy rather than classical which is just what I wanted. The sound is reminiscent of the early Ovations as used by John Williams on his Sky albums.
