Great quality for the money!

I bought this as my second guitar and had pretty low expectations, But the guitar really is great! Overall everything came stable and in top quality, except for the G string which was partly damaged on a spot, but that wasn't an issue since I replaced them.

Great value guitar

Guitar came in good condition. A little Truss rod and bridge adjustment, No marks/scratches, No frets sprout, Everything works. It's a beautiful guitar and I'm very satisfied.

Excellent Explorer style guitar and affordable

Love this guitar great electronics for the price, guitar stays in tune and it's finish is impeccable neck is a little chonk but it's just my opinion. Fret work was good nothing to worry on that end. I really dont have anything bad to say regarding anything about this guitar.

Harley Benton EX-84 Modern BK

This guitar arrived to me in New Zealand well boxed and packaged. The guitar was in excellent condition. The guitar was set up nicely, the knobs and switch work perfectly, and the paint job was immaculate.

I do really love the active Roswell pickups in this guitar, and personally much prefer them to EMGs.

The only thing that could be improved with this guitar is making sure the frets were polished at the factory. Its not problem to do this at home when changing the strings the first time though.

I love this guitar. It looks and sounds excellent. I would highly recommend it.

I do not speak English, I use a translator. I got a quality comparable to the tools for which I paid 2-3 times more money. Frets do not prick. The frets are finished and polished. The guitar plays the correct notes in all positions, after adjusting the strings and scale. I give EMG 81 and 85 and I'm very happy. But for the price, "Roswell" sound very good.

DisadvantagesIt. Is necessary to file the nut. The strings are too high. But that was on all the guitars. Even very expensive ones. Thanks to Harley Banton for the opportunity to buy a good tool for a good price.

Harley Benton EX-84 Modern

This is my first Harley Benton guitar.

CONS: The white Tusq nut on an all black guitar is an odd choice. I took one star away from the 'quality' category because there were a few minor imperfections in the finish.

PROS: The fret job is fantastic! The Roswell active pickups sound good. The Grover locking tuners, Tusq nut, and WSC Tune-O-Matic bridge keep it in perfect tune. The EX-84 Modern has close action, no buzz, nice sustain, and sounds great.

Final verdict: The Harley Benton EX-84 Modern is fun and comfortable to play. It is made for metal, but sounds good with clean settings, too.
