Harley Benton JA-60LH SB Vintage Series 5-stars Reviews
Great!
I just love this guitar. Thank you for having these products for left handed people. Also comes in many different colours. Guitar was well set-up, I just needed to tune. Details are great.
Cheapest guitar that Dunks!
I don’t know much about this brand but ai bought a really cheap guitar that holds the tune and I’m a heavy player, the sound is really good for the price it’s even more than decent for live gigs I tried it with Nirvana.
Don’t overthink it, buy it.
my review on the Harley Benton JA-60LH SB Vintage Series
if you are left handed and looking for a budget guitar which is very hard to find for lefties harley benton is the perfect band no other brand has this much variety and options and about this guitar it is beautiful the block inlays are good for this price the pickups are good enough tuners are nice knobs satifisfying and VERY GOOD. cable provided has ok quality keeping in mind that its free its good enough. if this seems like a paid review it isnt this guitar is just really good it easily competes to the squier range and even the fender, ibanez and other brands in their budget range. overall if you are looking for a budget guitar with a magnificent sound and body you can definitely go for this one.
A great guitar!
at great take on the jazzmaster, without the hassle of the sometimes tricky trem system. Played straight out of the box *****
It resonates sound
Qualifier, this is for the cost. This guitar has a really nice neck and tuners. Very happy, even after shipping to the US.
Better Than I Expected
I knew Harley Benton guitars were good, now I know, they're better than good, they're great! Best money you'll spend on a lower budget guitar. They only thing low on these is the cost, not the quality! Buy one, or like me... buy one of each!
The best guitar I have played!
This Harley Benton JA-60LH SB Vintage Series guitar looks superb! The quality is flawless, far better than guitars costing twice the price. The neck is the perfect thickness and profile for me, the frets are great too, so no need to smooth them. I love the look of the guitar...it is so difficult to get these in left handed configuration.
I also wanted a solid bridge as I?ve had bad experiences with tremolo set ups in the past, so this ticks that box! The guitar stays in tune just great. Also has a nice selection of sounds due to the 3-way selector switch.
All-in-all a total bargain with great quality and price!
Harley Benton JA-60LH SB Vintage Series
Just got this guitar today, really happy with it. Set up very well, plays well too. No flaws that I can see everything appears to be in good order. I have'nt put it through all its paces yet but that will take a little more time. The finish is really good even when I put it beside my Fender Strat, they look like they were related. For the price of this guitar it is so much value it feels good to play. Very happy overall and I'll be buying a few more Harley Bentons in the future.
Another diamond in the rough
These JA-60's are some of the best low end guitars I have ever come across (playing for 45 years). Lightweight with access to the full fretboard, P90 PU's going from sublime to outright rock. Nice fast neck... WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE? And Left handed too !!!
An superb offset rock guitar
I ordered this a few months ago and had to wait until it arrived in stock but I must say it was well worth the wait.
The good:-
- A really super neck. Level polished frets, nice modern C shape - feels hefty enough for me.
- Well cut nut
- 3 piece body - decent attempt to match wood, nice sunburst if you like that type of finish.
- Amazing sounding P90s from Wilkinson. All the snarl and sweetness one would expect. I think they are stacked P90s as there is minimal hum but they sure sound good.
- Nice light guitar 3.23kg (7.12 lbs)
A few things that could be better
- Pickguard. To my eyes it is not as ugly as some have siad but it is clearly on the cheap side. Even shows some signs of slight delamination.
- The Tailpiece and Bridge are quite high for my liking. Strings touch the end of the bridge - hence necessitating raising the tailpiece. I'll be topwrapping this.
- Some neck dive. Nothing too drastic but it's there.
Overall a great guitar for the money. I find it's has a lovely tone for Blues and Jazz on the neck pickup as well as classic rock on the bridge. Very versatile.
Recommended for those who want something a little bit different.
