Harley Benton Marquess-5 Sunburst Stain
5-string electric bass

Latest User Reviews
Great entry level 5 string bass
I never played on 5 string before, and this is my first.
I can say as a novice for novices:
- B string sounds good.
- Materials quite good
- Electronics is OK
- There is an opportunity change the character of sound - more heavy or "warm".
- Balance not ideal, its at the neck side. But not critical.
- Sting spacing less then any 4 string bass, pay attention on this!
- Pots, looks weak, now its ok. Don't know how long they will work properly.
- Tuning machines keep tunning well.
- Paintwork is good on my exemplar, looks great!
I feel pleasure when I play on this bass. Perhaps it's one of the best for this price.
