Harley Benton Mini Looper 4-stars Reviews
Nice looper for the price
Allthough the features are not all that much, it's a good looper for the price. Nice to start with and explore the looper-world.
Fine for it's price
It's a basic looper for everyone who don't wanna spend a lot of money. Don't expect fireworks - simple and that's all. If you're looking for something to practice in home - best choice at this moment.
Probably the best for this price
It is the cheapest looper available and does what it needs to do. It works fine, seems quite solid and the sound is okay.
It works, it's good, it's cheap
I bought this pedal as myfirst ever looper because i didn't want to spend much on a looper.
A little bit worried about the quality (because there aren't that many reviews or videos online) i decided to just buy it. Delivery was quick and correct, as always, and when i first plugged it in, it did what I expected.
PRO'S:
It's a simple looper and it works, the sound is good, the footswitch is sturdy which is important for a looper because you use the footswitch a LOT and the looping mechanism is easy. The USB-connectivity works fine and is a neat feature, but i don't use it that often.
And now the DOWNSIDE to the pedal:
First of all, the sound. When i record a loop there is a small difference between the direct sound to the amp and the looped sound from the pedal. The difference isn't that big, but it is noticable if you know the sound of your gear.
Second, the volume knob works fine between completely off and noon (wich is about the same volume as the signal from the guitar) but the second half of the volume-sweep doesn't effect the volume very much. But since it's a looper, I don't think it's that big of a problem.
I also compared this to the TC Electronic Ditto my friend uses, and the difference in quality isn't worth double the price.
TLDR; Need a looper, don't need perfection, buy this one!
Very Good
It?s work perfect. The sound is good, even if you add pedals before it,
The only problem is when you want to do 2 recordings or more, you have to press the pedal two times, it can be a problem sometimes,
Anither bad thing is that is not possible use with a batery...
Bang for the Buck
I know this is not a Ditto - but for the money I challenge anyone to find better looper than this.
It does what it is supposed to do. Came out of box solid and now after a couple of days of medium use it feels sturdy and I think it will last me a while.
Very cool little looper. The switch is really great, really smooth. However, I'm experiencing some distortion when overdubbing too much, and by too much I mean, depending on the guitar and the effects I put on before it, distortion occurs in after two or twenty-two overdubs.
Amazing for the price but....
this pedal is amazing for its price and i don't think i'll ever regret buying it
that said however it is difficult to use it in a live situation because of its one button set up , to stop a loop you have to hold down the button for rougly 2 seconds , during this time the loop keeps going , which makes it awkward to end a loop in a song.
for home jamming however where such things dont matter this looper is amazing and i have already found that songwriting has become so much easier when i can make rhythm and lead lines to my songs on the fly using the looper.
overall i would personally recommend the looper for anyone but be wary of the one button set up if you wanna take this to a live scenario as it may be tough to use but not impossible.
Lots of fun!
If you want to experiment with a looper this one is lots of fun and not expensive at all when compared to the competition. However its sound quality and straightforward features make it suitable for both practice and the average gig. Nice find!
