Harley Benton Mini Looper 4-stars Reviews
Good product
This looper does what it says on the tin, is great for bedroom players looking to jam with themselves, can muddy the tone a bit but itâs good for a bit of fun.
Great budget loop pedal
Great budget loop pedal, and good value for money. Obviously limited by loop time, features etc but not an issue for the money this costs!
Harley Benton mini looper
Very good quality small loop pedal gets the job done and have never had a problem with it
Great little looper
Great for a mini pedalboard for home or Jams. Very easy to use and reliable so far (4 months of daily use). I wanted a simple inexpensive looper mostly to practice with, and this did the job perfectly. I find I can get the loop timing accurately too on this one.
Pretty good looper for the price
Decent sound, does the job and is easy to use. Can't complain
Good and cheap loop pedal
This one is very cheap and simple to use. Not a lot of resources, just the basic stuff, but it feels sturdy enough to the home player. The sound degrades as you ad on more loops.
Basic Looper
Simple, nothing special, no complaints but if you are looking for something to use live, I'd look for something with a few more options or variety. I use this to loop guitar tracks while dialling in a tone on amps and pedals, nothing else. It's fine, sounds okay, handy tool but sees no major use off me.
Surprised in a good way
Usually with these cheap loopers, you get drowned and drab loops with a huge loss in volume, but I haven't experienced any of that with this one so far. For the price, I'm massively impressed with how it's keeping the tone/volume for the most part consistent. It lacks many features compared to higher end models, but it does the bare minimum for looping really well, and at this price point that's all you can really hope for.
Great if you're starting out
I bought this as my first ever pedal, and I don't regret it at all! I use it to practice my soloing, and I couldn't be happier. Great practice pedal and the USB feature is definitely very fun
difficult to operate for me
Don't understand me wrong - this is a very good looper that functions perfectly. Yet, it is very difficult for me to use it. And that is because I am colour blind. It is impossible for me to see the difference between when the LED lights red or green. Therefore I never know what state the pedal is in. Why not use blue as a contrasting colour ?
Great for backing when practicing
Using this for playing rythm/support when practicing solo-runs etc. Great for my intended use.
Took some getting used to the controls and timing of loop-recording.
Very well made and robust. Very simple operation, no bells and whistles. Was perfect for what I needed it for which was mostly just playing around home. No complaints and would recommend
really good for the price
Pretty clunky, but once you understand it it's decent. Definitely not good for professional stuff, it can't process your loop automatically, you need to nail it which is kinda of a downside, but for the price, what more can you ask of it.
Click noise recorded!
Would be a good thing if it didn't have that "click" noise each time loop re-starts! Very annoying if you need a constant drone or anything that does not need separate click as this can throw you off, acting as a rhythm click when not really needed. I think its the switch that click and gets into the start of the recording. Very annoying. I dont think this to be a malfunction but rather the feature of this affordable looper pedal. Shame really.
Basic looper that does the job!
These one button loopers are tricky to use as I found out, this being the first looper I own, but once you figure it out it absolutely meets the requirements for practice, does not require much space on a pedal board and has a solid metal construction. Great choice for people on a budget that do not require complex loopers.
You can't go wrong with this pedal for the price. Just a very simple looper, one button, unlimited overdubbing, which is really fun when you want to mess around by yourself.
Has a fun feature to add any effect to it by just activating it after starting the recorded loop, giving you a very versatile loop. You don't have to re-record your loop if you would want a chorus instead of reverb or ?
Biggest con is the switch: it is very light and is pressed down too easily. I often find myself activating and immediately deactivating the pedal with one single touch because the button is so easily pressed.
Great looper for great price
It cannot get easier than that, just one switch, a level pot, and you're good to go. The different switching options to control the loops and and add layers are a bit confusing at first, but eventually it gets easier.
Although I haven't used it myself, I love the fact that you could actually download the loops you've made onto your computer!
Good looper but difficult to use
The sound is good, and works very well.
The only problem is that is not very easy to use when playing. And even more difficult to learn how to use. I had to read the manual more than once to remember how to do things.
But for the price, is very good.
wow
its not expensive and the sound is great. no complains with this one. i love it and i am spending hours whit it
Probably the best price/quality option.
The HB Mini Looper is a simple looper, with basic functions (no tap tempo, for instance).
I normally use it at home, record just one loop (it goes up to ten if you wish) and keep playing over it.
The sound is very good, and the pedal works very well both in the effect loop and directly into the amp input.
Solid built and easy to use, very fair price. Definitely recommended.
