Harley Benton MV-4PJ Daphne Blue
Electric Bass

MV-4PJ. Beautiful and outstanding bass!
I purchased the Daphne Blue MV-4PJ and what can I say! It's an absolutely brilliant instrument. Firstly, the colour! It's gorgeous. Paint finish was great. The neck is sublime. Jazz style neck with the 38mm nut width. The Canadian roasted maple neck is lovely. Fretwork was flawless on mine. A slight criticism is the fretboard was quite dry when I received it but some lemon oil instantly hydrated it which gave it a lovely deep look. The block inlays and binding finish off the look! The new HBZ pickups sound great, and being a PJ you can get that traditional P bass sound or introduce the bridge to brighten the sound. Overall I'm thrilled with my purchase, and it's the bass I pick up the most to play.
