Harley Benton PJ-5 SBK Deluxe Series
5-String Electric Bass

Great bass for the money. Sounds good, stays in tune, and feels decent. My only issue with it is the major neck dive, but that's kind of to be expected at this price point.
Once you do a proper setup this bass will astonish you!
Received the bass from Germany in 4 days. It actually beat my Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings ordered off Amazon by 2 days despite the promise that the strings would be here next day. Finish is amazing, no flaws whatsoever. Neck and intonation were set properly from the factory. Action was way to high and I brought it down several millimeters. Strings that were installed at the factory were awful. B string was completely dead. I didn't panic because I knew I had to re-string and do a proper setup. After spending about an hour on the restring and half an hour on the setup the bass sounds amazing. So, how does it sound you ask? It has a great growl on the bridge pickup that is present across the basses capable range. This growl really cuts through the mix. The neck pickup is very full and round providing that P-bass tone that sound engineers crave. You have a volume control for each pickup so you can mix them to your individual taste. The single tone control provides a broad range that will allow you to dial in the EQ just how you like! Overall this bass is an Astounding value for $136 US. Purchase one of these, you won't regret it!
Lovey bass
Love the bass, upgrades from a 4 string. It took a while to set up the neck as it was out of alignment slightly but I was expecting it needed some setting up. I love the Matt finish, just don't eat anything oily before and forget to wash your hands, the Matt finish shows up fingerprints if your hands are a bit oily lol.
Beyond incredible
Since it's a 5-string bass, it was tricky to get used to it at first but then, the machine itself bewitches. The tone is amazing, strings are high quality. The only problem was that after 20th fret, the strings touch to the magnetics. It's probably because of the bridge calibration. Overall, the guitar is amazing!!
Good Bass, Impressive with the sound.
I'm impressed by the quality of the bass sound. I would highly recommend it to both beginners and advanced bass players.
Great for the price
Great bass for the price. Factory tuned very well and can be set to quite low action without the fuzz.
5 String version is ok
For the price I can't complain. The overall sound is good(not great). The weight and balance is ok-ish. The B string on this bass is useless though. Even with a good setup after purchase(this is needed) the B string lacks power and punch. The neck pickup is too low and there is no way to lift it( unless you go full rebuild). I give this an overall 3 stars, because of the price. It's a beginner base and once you are more advanced you'll need to move on. I have a 4 string HB as well and that gets a 4 stars from me.
Pickups output level
The pickups output level is too low (at leas on mine), and some frets are a bit sharp on the edges other than that the frets are nicely leveled, so nothing major. Overall it's a nice bass.
