Perfectly Good for the LOW LOW PRICE

Just some minor cosmetic stuff, and one issue of buzzing low E saddle, which is an easy fix. overall you CANT get something looking this good for this little anywhere ELSE.. 8 Pound 15 Ounces!

My first HB and not my last.

As an avid guitar player and collector, I needed an LP in my life. I was previously the proud owner of a Les Paul Gibson studio. Which I foolishly let go. I tried a couple of Apple phones and vintage but I just didn’t cut it. I have followed the Harley Benton website for awhile

I thought I would try this white Les Paul which reminds me of the guitar that Steve Jones from the Sex Pistols played.

It is really an excellent Guitar, and I could drive about the finish and the playability and the neck, but to be fair is the sound and pick ups that make it truly awesome if you’re thinking of buying one but not sure, buy it !

My brother and I have a YouTube channel and we review guitars. We've always liked Harley Benton guitars, but recently they have upped their game! This beautiful instrument was a pleasure to review and it has one of the lowest actions of any guitar my brother Dan has ever played. He's been a professional guitarist for over 50 years and he absolutely loved this guitar.

Shining bright

Love everything about it, I still get excited when I pick it up to play! I did need to set the neck & the action but that is par for the course. I own many guitars and only three times did I ever receive one that was ready out of the box and oddly enough each was a Paul Stanley model, go figure! The pick ups are not the greatest but they suffice until you can swap em'.

Extremely Nice

Just received this Beautiful Axe today , it came well packaged and set up nicely the only gripe I had was the bridge pickup was very microphonic but that really wasn’t a big deal. I had to say the active pick ups to switch them out anyway, other than that five stars.

So it's a cheap Guitar???

Yes it is a cheaply priced guitar but it is also so much more! The build quality of this Guitar is as good a model twice the price. The sound is simply exceptional for the price. When it arrived it was in perfect condition with the physical settings as near perfect as you could expect. playability is first class, The general look of the guitar is really smart with first class with the gold hardware and the pleasant white paint used. The hardware is obviously the best but is acceptable. Strings need to changed as the ones supplied are not really perfect. I found the tuning keys good and the pickups far better than expected. Locking tuners could be fitted in the future. This guitar is worth upgrading in my opinion. It is not a badly built cheapie but instead a guitar far above its price.... My other two guitars are both ep's and this one produces a far better sound and is more comfortable to play... You really need to see and play it to get a good feel. The pictures go no way in giving an actual true representation of the quality of this £144 baby. I would just like to add that My appraisal is based on the guitar I received. Yes if your looking for a guitar not costing the earth that will preform like an instament twice or three times the cost, then this is the one to go for.

Well worth it!

This guitar is unbelievably cheap for what you get, personally my favourite Les Paul cheap alternative.. Having read/watched reviews online I was dubious regarding quality etc given it’s price, however having inspected as soon it arrived I can safely say it has an amazing finish! The sound is fantastic, very playable..

Amazing Guitar for Price

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality once more of these Harley Benton Guitars, this is now my 2nd (awaiting my 3rd) Harley Benton and I continue to be amazed, overall a very nice to play and listen to guitar, it did arrive with a dent, however didn't decide to follow up as I didn't want the hassle, but an amazing guitar for the price, would highly recommend, the only con to this style of guitar is the weight!

Great sounds... Ugly paint

Got this one in today and tuned it up. This guitar looks great at a distance but once you get up close you will see just so many imperfections in the binding and paint. I was genuinely surprised with how bad the paint was done on this. As well, the fingerboard is made from a cheaper wood and it just... does not look good. Very grainy... It plays very well though. Visually a 4/10. Playability 7.5/10. Sad because I bought a JA60 HB and it is so nice. Very surprised with how bad the quality was of this one.

Looks great but…

I was super excited when this guitar arrived, it is absolutely beautiful. The overall quality and feel is great and well above its price point. However, things went downhill when I started setting it up. The low E string has fret buzz down the entirety of the neck. I’ve adjusted the bridge, added relief through trust rod adjustment and still buzzing. The action is now far above playable and still having issues. I’ve contacted customer service as it seems I’ve received a dud.

PLAYS LIKE BUTTA

This is a solid instrument. Plays beautifully. I swapped out the pickups (as I always do) and tuners and installed a brass nut. Gorgeous guitar.

Dissapointed

The guitar feels cheap, and it got delivered (very late) with a few dents. The volume knobs both have dents and cracks in them. The fretboard is not the best either. But it looks really nice and is good playing. Keep in mind you also have to pay to get it through customs wich is +25% + a set fee, usually around 20-30£

Unbelievable playing

This was my second HB guitar. So I was expecting a lot. I was not disappointed. This guitar feels like a dream. It plays amazingly smooth and looks cooler than an ice berg. The fretboard and neck feels fast and comfortable. The unique cut on the set neck looks beautiful, and looks like it has more contact between the body and neck, making it stronger. Love this guitar.

A beauty

With a good set up after shipping and letting adjust to the climate, this is a work horse.

Sounds really good and QC obviously checked this guitar over. You can’t buy the parts for this amount. A 10 out of 10 for me.

Les Paul custom

Very simply a dead ringer to a 1974 les Paul custom I sold many years ago ……

No bs …… it’s so close to that guitar it’s a joke anyone would spend 4400$ for the Gibson model …

everything works, look really nice, Hope the pickguard was placed a little lower.. but its no such a big deal.

I will recommend my friends to buy this guitar, and other from your collection, because its just cheap, beautiful, and just amazing. ( for the really low budget )

Excellent value for money

The guitar is assembled very well. The intonation is tuned straight out of the box, the strings are at a height of less than 2 millimeters at the 12th fret. Great clear sound. Potentiometers do not crackle, pickups do not have mic effect. And the edges of the frets are very smooth!

Wonderful instrument for the money, looks great, sounds decent, and makes a great platform for mods!
