Harley Benton Slider II Vintage Series
6-String Lap Steel Guitar

Latest User Reviews
Absolutely astounded by the quality of this instrument for the price. The only thing that I would recommend is to upgrade the strings.
Best entry lapsteel
It does the job and use it sometimes for western cinematic type music. The single coil is crisp but amazingly the tone and volume knobs work like a high-end instrument and I use it for fine adjusting the sound. No issues so far. Maybe the design of the headstock is bad, because strings touch the lower inner part. Overall is good
Good Entry Level Slide Guitar
Pros: Cheap, easy to set up. Light but robust.
Cons: Slight ground hum, the silver screws on the fret board can be confuse with the fret markers (ideally, they need to Matt Black)
Great intro to lap steel
Decent make,stays in tune well.
Surprisingly good pick up clean and when you tweek some effects eq overdriven sounds are thick and clear! May benefit from thicker strings but those provided are reasonable quality.
Great for me
I've wanted to go get a lap steel for a while, I already play slide on a regular guitar and didn't want to pay a bucket full of money for something that I might not use a lot. The sound is amazing, it feels great to play and as a beginner to lap steel it is perfect for me and the price is amazing.
Good entry level instrument
Great introduction to slider guitars. The main con is tuners, they are just awful. After I changed these, tuning stability became much better. Also put Humbucker instead of SIngle coilm so no more hum.
But for the prise it is a steal, even with all the adjustments it's very affordable.
Lap Steel
Just had to put on La Bella strings and it sounds awesome 🤩
Great beginner lap steel
This is great value for money and it sounds fine. I've played guitar for decades so this is a great starting point for me. A few cons: The strings that come with it are terrible. They're so light that I could tune it to open A, and by that I might like barring an A chord on the fifth fret of a guitar. Very high, so new strings are a must, especially if you want to use C6 tuning, the included strings will not do that. The tuning pegs are a bit strange, I swear they're hollow inside so you can lose the end of the string in there which is odd. That said it stays in tune perfectly and that's the main thing. I would say upgrade the nut but if you don't use a lot of open strings who cares?
Great Little Slider
A great sounding slider , wasn't sure if i should get one being so cheap i thought it was going to need quite a few modifications but no , i am very happy with it , i don't think i'll be modding it at all. very pleased , how do they do it for the money ?
Great value
I think that some of the reviews here have been harsh. Yes, top-grade strings, tuners an electronics would improve this instrument, naturally. They would also treble the price. This is a perfect lap steel for a beginner who just wants to try one out. At the price, it's absolutely remarkable. When I fed the sound in through a decent setup at home, it was excellent. When I have mastered this one, I can always trade up...
