Great beginner guitar

I got this as my first electric guitar and boy oh boy is it great. It works great and is easily playable. If you are looking for a beginner guitar I would recommend this one.

Really bad first impressions...

Both tone controlss were completely dead only thing they did was make sound from muffled clear tone to more clearer when cranked to max... theres no point returning it since it would cost like half of the original price. also the fretboard feels really rough and strings rattle at some positions. so im just getting a new model but the ST-62 hot rod which seems way better deal in overall quality and much better pickups... So in my opinion if you looking for a cheap guitar go for the hotrod edition or any other in that same price range which is 50€ more you get better pickups and overall better experience dont buy this one or any other st-20 models.

Stay away!!!

Got mine a while back, and it has way too much neck relief that can't be easily adjusted due to the nut being cut too deep from the factory. The fret ends are razor sharp, and the frets are unlevel in numerous places. Also the output jack pops and crackles when I move around. I bought it to learn on, but the only thing I've learned so far is I'll never buy another one of these cheap guitars. Oh, and I learned it takes a month or so to even get an order from this place to the States. That's why I didn't just return it. Multiple times across the ocean, with the risk of further damage and the time involved, didn't seem worth it for a sub 100 dollar guitar. Buyers beware!!!

This is the best guitar for the money. There are some nuances regarding the build quality, but this does not affect the sound in any way.

A small unevenness on the neck.

Not completely polished.

The tremolo is not quite tight.

Best Guitar by a long way for the price

I have owned all the so called expensive best makes, and sold them all - I now only buy Harley Bentons (i now have 3)

Some need a set up then they are as good as Fender / Gibson / PRS / Epiphone etc,, Thats my view, i have been playing for more than 50 yrs.

Can’t beat the quality and price

I played this guitar at church every Sunday for over two years.

Recommend it!

The only thing is I had to put better strings and lightly sand the frets. Now it’s great!

Unexpected quality for such price!

Great guitar for absolute beginners, even maybe for intermediate guitarists! Mine stays in tune just well, sounds good and amazing quality. The only problem I can say is, the tone knobs doesn't work at all. But it's not big deal for me.

great guitar

Fast delivery. good quality at a low price, the sound is bold on the humbucker, the singles are weak, but for this price it's just fine.

Basic but good

Well made great sounding guitar for the cost. Played straight from the packaging just a quick tune up required.

great mod guitar

Bought a Guitar fetish loaded pickguard and put that in it and it sounds awesome. The original was fine but I am learning how to upgrade and these guitars are great for this.

Great guitar for teaching a child. For this little money, a surprisingly very high quality guitar. Would recommend to all newbies.

An excellent guitar for both a beginner and an experienced guitarist, it sounds very decent. Nice build. An excellent strat for the money.

Great guitar for it's price !

The guitar is very good for such a cheap price ! 100% recommend for someone on a budget. Very modifiable guitars as well. Changing the pickups and tuners would make these guitars absolute beasts.

Great guitar for that money

the only thing that bugged me is the quality of plastic part. While the wood looks and feels very good, the quality of plastic knobs is terrible. And i know that plastic knobs dont affect the playing, but c'mon, really? HB made a decent guitar and all of that nice impression was spoiled by plastic knobs. Make the guitar 2 eur more expensive, but provide it with decent furniture

Great instrument and price

This is a very good electric guitar for a beginner.

The strings are close to the fret board and don't require tedious height readjustment (at least it was good enough for me). I did some simple tuning and it was all good.

The frets are all even in height, well finished and the width is good.

The instrument isn't "noisy" even when used in front of a PC (where it could be affected by RF signals and induction), but a higher quality shielded cable is very recommended.

The tremolo and the tonality switch along with the knobs are good to have.

I'd say it needs slightly better packaging as the guitar head's pointy end managed to crush plastic foam and almost got out of the box during shipping, but the guitar was shipped over long distance, so guess it's OK.

Okay For Beginners But..

The price and look are the only pros. I'm not very experienced but it doesn't sound like a strat. I have not played one but just according to my listening experience. I'm only using a Boss Katana Mini though.

The biggest con for me was the sharp edges on the frets. It hurts my hand and prevents me from playing it fully. As I'm not very handy I've damaged the fretboard while unsuccessfully trying to file the edges.

Also, it doesn't hold the tuning very well.
