Harley Benton ST-62 BK Vintage Series 5-stars Reviews
Fantastic Guitar
Looks good, well built, sounds fantastic, very good price for an beautiful looking and sounding instrument.
Good sound for good money
Wanted Fender Stratocaster I decided to try this Harley Benton.I have two guitars from this brand and they worth the money. So I placed order. As I unpacked the guitar I was pleasantly surprised from the nice glossy paint ,roasted maple neck. The comfort of the touching. After some adjustments on the guitar action,I can say this guitar sounds and feels like real Strat. The sound has that specific Fender tone the neck is feeling good, easy for playing. The hardware is good for this price level.A lot of pleasure to play on this guitar. The price is more than good.
Great
Feels great, sounds great, looks great, is great. Needed a little adjustment to the action and intonation, otherwise fantastic
Amazed
First of all I was under the impression that I might need to spend a day to set up the entire guitar, you know, because of the price. To my surprise the guitar was set up perfectly, no intonation issues, action just right etc. Maybe I got lucky. Hefty guitar with amazing sound for the price you pay and
Great for beginning
It was my first guitar and it’s ok for beginner. But after a while you’ll need better guitar
Harley Benton
Very good guitar. Its reeeally worth the money. On terms of sound is almost as good as a mid price one which is really impressive for a 130€ guitar
Great for that price
Good guitar. Cheap guitar with great assembly quality. Nice for beginners and for practice lessons
St 62 bk
Phenomenal guitar, extremely good value.
Great guitar punches well above its price point
Arrived safely, no damaged. Fantastic sound. Once setup to my preference it was a joy to play. I tend to find you need to spend a good few hours playing a new guitar, get familiar with it. I made some adjustments to the pickup height and the poles,.I prefer to try get the most out of the stock hardware if possible and rarely see the need to change.
great guitars
for this price i barely have anything to complain about,
it came up setup just great out of the box, overall the newer harley benton guitars seem to have better quality control compared to a few years ago.
i love how the neck plays, the fretboard is a bit flatter compared to "classic" strats.
I heard people complain about this about some harley bentons and the fretboard is a bit dry, but it doesn't bother the playability so it isn't a concern for me.
I'm in love!
First thing you always get is the feel, first impressions count, and it's great. Wish I'd found this guitar years ago! Has everything you need for a relationship with a shiny new guitar, and you feel it immediately at one. Nothing feels cheap, sounds are there, no dead spots or dodgy frets, not too heavy either.
Great Over All
Not a Fender Strat but for the price and quality you can't go wrong, trust me this guitar is a real Strat that plays and feels like one, I got impressed since the moment I opened the box.
Playability: really easy to play.
The only minor thing I found was a few sharp fret edges that I had to filed them off, not a big issue.
Over all very happy, so far, I have purchased three Harley Benton guitars for my collection and I'm just starting, great instruments
A really solid guitar
I was looking for a cheap guitar, which looks fairly good, and plays well. The hardware were not a point as I probably was gonna replace them anyway. I think the most important part of a guitar is the neck, if it's bad, you won't like it. This guitar is the perfect platform. The neck is gorgeous, mine has some really minor dents, but all-in-all it's beautiful color and satin finish with a medium thickness gives it a wonderful feel. 22 frets are also a big plus. I've raised the degree of the neck so that the strings lay flat all the way through. Also raised the vibrato bar and set it up to float, added some graphite to the nut. This guitar is rock solid. It holds tune suprisingly well even with the vintage tuners, it even handles some divebombs if you're not extremly violent. For light vibrato use it's flawless, it holds tune nicely and sounds really good. Again, we're talking about a fully cheap spec guitar. I kid you not, this is on par with the base spec Fender strats. The pickups tho - the neck and mid pickups are really nice, but the bridge pickup lacks bass a lot. It's nice for some overdriven rock tones, but for cleans it's so flat that you would mistake it for a plank. Definitely the pickups are the weak point of this guitar, and also the cheap plastic pickguard and potentiometer knobs, but again, these are things that you can easily replace for higher quality ones.
I'm fully satisfied with this instrument and it quickly became one of my favourite guitars. 10/10 would recommend.
Wow! Just Wow!
I had no idea this guitar would be this good.
I had a '66 Fender Strat that I bought new that got away in the past, but this guitar is a far better Strat than my old original one.
The neck feels better and the overall tone is much better than my old guitar was.
Totally amazing at this price point.
The St-62 Bk Vintage / Love this Guitar
Very Happy with this 62 St.. keeping it short this guitar is just great , no need to file frets , i have hire end guitars , but don't let the price fool you , i use 10's so just changed strings set it up the way i like my playing action.. and it can compete with the rest .. Great feeling neck and finish ... Highly Recommend if you love strat style bodies and want to dive in .. Great Work Harely Benton !!! only one thing i should ad the tuners are vintage and that's great .. they take a little to get use too. but the GTR keeps in tune !!
Terrific Value
Guitar looks great an d stays in tune well. Slight feet buzz on b and top e strings up the fretboard but nothing that couldn't be sorted with a little bit of adjustment. Feels like a much more expensive guitar to play.
Love this guitar!
This guitar changed my idea about cheap guitars. This guitar plays and sounds awesome! I have no complaints about it. Plays good, sounds good and has a great finishing for a third of the price of a F...r. Yeah, you will not regret it!
I am so ready to order my second guitar.
Let me start by saying I'm impress by your delivery time to Barbados in about two weeks during a pandemic. Fantastic . I like the weight and feel of this guitar. I am still working on getting the guitar to how I would like it to play and feel. Considering the price I think it's a great instrument. I would recommend buying this guitar to any one. PROS: Nice neck , Bridge and saddles, Pickguard , Volume and Tone Knobs, Fantastic body finish. Just as good as a top of the line instrument. CONS: Machine Heads , Frets not polish.
Very happy
Very happy with this purchase. It plays really well and sounds great when paired with my Vox amp. I am planning a few cheap but effective upgrades such as a new TUSQ nut, some better strings, and some small adjustments to the bridge/tremolo system(it's quite rigid) but these are minor adjustments. My first Harley Benton, and not my last.
Holy crap!!
I'm shock!! I never thought that such a ceap guitar could sound so amazing!!
