Versatile

Great features not only for guitars, but also vocal. Even bas can be pretty good sounding if knobs are in correct position. I tried to sing with 3 separated vocals ( mini passive mixer ), in this case, Streetbox unfortunatly struggled a lot... For 2 guitars and vocal its great!

Stopped working

This thing broke down after just a few weeks. Something to do with the battery I think. It's enever worked since. It didn't even come with a suitable English adaptor.

Ticks all the boxes

This amp proves to be very useful in a variety of situations. I've used it for small pub gigs with good results. Having a small "footprint" it's quick and easy to set up and its light weight is a delight for transportation. I've had it switched on for 4+hrs and the battery indicator is still showing two bars, so its capacity is very good.

Having freedom from mains cabling and extension leads is a blessing. I've been using a wireless mike as well. (I have one of those wireless guitar pods, but I'm not convinced they're as reliable as a cable, so just have one guitar lead that I plug in)

The pole socket to allow use of a speaker stand is a good feature, I've used it, and the amp projects well for the sake of the extra height this affords.

Haven't yet used the Bluetooth facility, but I can see how it might be useful for me later on and its nice to know its there if I need it.

As others have observed, the carrying bag is a tight fit!! A bit of slack here would be appreciated.

The amp is well made and looks good quality as well. For me, it's a "keeper"!

Cute little.....

With so much sound from a small box, HB have pulled another rabbit from they're hat, could be the 2 speakers together in one box that make this so powerful, but well done guys. Easily enough sound for a small bar or cafe, 20/30 talking people, which is my local once a month gig.

A great feature is the master volume, mostly found on professional music gear and welcome.

3 'full' input channels, all with full eq and a 'quality' feel in the controlls.

I'm not an effects user, but there's plenty of sweet sounding reverb on tap if you need it

I never have needed 'anti feedback' but the notch/depth controlls are easy to use and very effective.

The line in, line out work perfect with my other gear, I already have used streetbox as a mixer/monitor with line out to my 500w JBL at a school hall fundraiser gig, 207 people, streetbox did 4 hours on battery with no problems. JBL eon 500 is big.

I usually cut my 'lows' to 80 or 100 kHz, I believe my voice, acoustic guitar and harmonica sound sweetest there, the streetbox lows roll off at 80khz, perfect for me.

Feature, volume control on the bluetooth is good, my wife has a blue tooth mic system, this is great and adds yet another channel to the streetbox.

Very light and easy to carry in its dedicated bag. Nicely finished, maybe needs corner buffers and a 'kick back' stand for the buskers among us, but suits me as is.

Nice one HB :-)

Delivered as advertised

I was a bit dubious but needed what utilities were offered on this product. I had an upcoming gig where the venue needed a street act in the middle of a festival setting but weren't allowed by city ordinances to offer a power supply for amplification. This was to be my guerilla tactic for being heard above the din of the crowd and competing sound systems. This item arrived...and I was immediately impressed by the aesthetically pleasing design and utility of the three channels and built in effects; -as well as the handsome case it came in. Maybe a tad too snug but otherwise very well made and all very apparently durable materials.

I rehearsed with it at the studio and we had no need to use any additional studio equipment as it was sufficiently loud enough and good quality tone to it. My drummer was impressed and he's a sound technician (and owner of the rehearsal/recording studio that we rehearsed at.)

Day of the gig itself, set up was quick and I'm guessing any of the tonal problems were more to do with the lack of setup time in general as a band member showed up late. But for the rest, the gig and all.... it performed admirably and we had a good crowd who clearly liked what was going on. And another musician friend with a mostly brass section act that often does street performances (Balkan style dance music) he was very impressed and interested in it. So, all in all, I can easily say that this system is an excellent investment That hopefully will pay for itself. Haven't had it or used it enough to say what it's longterm durability is, but I will say that it's off to a good start.

I love this thing! Use it with electric violin + pc. Sometimes violin + guitar. Sound is perfect like for this price and from such a small box.

It's light comfy to carry. It looks good instead.

It came with adorable case BUT becouse it was sewn too small inside was big hole. Also it's harder to take cab out at put it in.

I charged it fully once, used 3 time for about ~ hour each and it's still full. Fot church, not loud places like main streets it's sounds loud enough.

Wow

What a surprisingly great amp. Could not justify the £450 for the street cube amp. More than does the job.

Best in its category

This is by far the best battery-powered busking amp. It beats competitors in every single category: price, size, weigh, easiness to use, looks… you name it. Being a busking amp, its sound is not as crystal clear as I would like, but that is too much to ask of an amp in this price range/size. Great purchase!

Perfect for my solo restaurant gigs!

I'm a singer who gigs with backing tracks, and sometimes with a musician. I used this speaker for many gigs in the past year and I'm really satisfied. Mic sound is clear, nice, with some extra reverb options, the volume is more than enough for a smaller gig (but I even used it in ballrooms and outside venues to provide background music). I love that it comes with a backpack case, easy to carry and handle. Looks classy too, and the bluetooth connection gets rid of the old cable between my phone and the speaker, so much more freedom this way. One downside of it: there is some general white noise when the bluetooth is on - which is not noticable when the music is playing, but pretty annoying when it's quiet. The battery has a long life, and it recharges pretty fast. If you need something easy and handy for bar gigging, this is a good choice. I might buy one more for extra volume or monitor purposes at some point, but not too eager just yet.

Good sound in a neat and useable package

I am new to this sort of equipment so can only say that while I am impressed by the sound the system has given me. I have nothing to compare it to. I got this to amplify my violin in a festival where I would be mobile, walking through the streets. I had it on my back in a rucksack with the pre-amp in a side pocket of the rucksack and a little clip Lavelier microphone attached to my hat. I wanted the sound to be as close to a natural violin sound as possible and it was. Even with it zipped up inside the rucksack, I did not need anything like full volume, just enough to make the fiddle heard among the melodions. The batteries are amazing and keep their charge for ages. The amp itself is light and neat. I look forward to getting my head around all the controls.

A great battery powered amplifier.

Honestly, I did not expect it to be that good. It has very nice clean sound and it is loud for its small size. Problably the best amp with 3 channels.

Also a very good prize for a battery amplifier with so many options.
