Stunning

Amazing at 3 times the price. Cannot fault it.

T style goodness

The intonation was perfect right out of the box and the neck sat flat a smooth with no stickiness with sweaty hands which makes this a joy to play.

Harley Benton have perfected giving customers way more features than what should be available at this price and that’s a plus for the consumer…

For this price a winner.

Needed a left handed guitar for a grandson. Ordered one of these. For this price range, you probably can't find a better made guitar. Love it!

Amazing guitar tone and look

Really goodout of the box

I play left handed but right strung, and the bridge on this let me set up the action just right. It has a lovely slippy 'satin' neck feel for easy playing. The neck is low profile which means easy playing. It holds tuning fine.

Tone is honest as per the player, just as you would expect from a tele. Nothing at all to criticise on this instrument.

Cant be beaten for the price

Ive had a couple of these and they can absolutely not be beat @ $75... Even with shipping so call it $140.00 - Still can't be beaten. You can't go wrong with this guitar

A very playable budget electric guitar!

This is the first electric guitar I played and owned, and though it is probably the cheapest lefty Telecaster on the website, it's still very good and very playable!

The guitar doesn't have any glaring issues- the frets are aligned and filed down, the action seems to be decent, and the tuners keep the strings in tune well. The only issue I have with the guitar is that the tone knob is really glitchy and doesn't work well at all, but I'm not too upset about it. Also, there is a small paint/wood fracture in the back of the guitar, so there must have been a delivery mishap, although I'm not sure where it exactly came from anyway.

Except for a couple small issues, this guitar is very good, and I'm happy that I was actually able to get a quality lefty guitar for the cheapest price I could find. =)

Impressed!

Difficult to fault this guitar. I am very impressed with it... So impressed that I almost ordered another one.

However, after some reflection, I decided, instead, to buy another two guitars of different models, both Harley Benton for tonal variation and to cover the different tunings I use.

I am very confident that these instruments will not disappoint.

Great for the price!

I was suprised with the fretwork and the finish on this guitar. It is very nice to look at and it plays very well. The frets are nicely finished and smooth, and for the price-range of this guitar I was suprised it played excellent right out of the box, without the need to set it up first. That being said, it's quite heavy for that particular shape and model, and the neck pick-up tends to get a bit muddy when you roll off the tone knob, but that's my personal issues. All around, a great guitar for the price and a true "work-horse" guitar.

This TE Standard looks great and at a price that is unbelievable I only had one problem and that was the frets where quite sharp on the edges but that was the only problem

All I did was look on utube to sort out the problem

As i said I can’t fault the guitar and would recommend to anyone that wants a TE just to buy one

Happy Birthday

Bought as a gift for a friend. He has quite a few guitars but had no Telecaster. He called me to tell me he loves it and he doesn't lie.

I'm totally blown away

As a left handed player, my options to try a guitar before i buy is very limited. I own several Gibson custom shops and a couple of Fender strats. You know the quality is good and you know you will pay a premium price for the privilege.

I thought i would take a chance on an HB, nothing to lose right? The price is incredibly low, less than a good night out on the town.

When the HB arrived i was extremely surprised at the build quality. The finish is flawless and the quality of the hardware is excellent. I immediately changed the existing strings to a set of 10-46's and lowered the action and needed to tighten the truss rod 1.25 turns. The nut was fine and the slots didn't need opening for the heavier guage strings. The intonation needed a quick adjustment then she was ready to play. This guitar feels good, i mean really good. It plays as well as my historic 58 and my deluxe strat. Now time to plug it into my DSL40cr... OMG not only does it play like a Tele, it sounds like a Tele! I've been playing this for a week and haven't touched another guitar, it really is amazing!

Of course no guitar is set up for your personal style of playing out of the box but the only issue i have is a slight lack of sustain. This could be down to the nut, the saddles, the bridge material or the fact the strings are not pushed through the body. But for the price of this guitar it's a very minor issue. Will i experiment and change a few things? Possibly in the future if i get bored playing it. But for now it's just great.

If you are an experienced player like myself, do not be fooled by this rediculously low price! Just order one and guarantee you will be blown away!

There is one more problem... It will not be the only HB you will buy!

As good as the Equivalent Squier!!

I thought i'd take a look at this Harley Benton TE-20 BK LH Standardd Series guitar, as i'd always liked the Tele shape, but did not fancy shelling out £££'s on a Fender or Squier model on the offchance I wouldn't like it. I'm so happy I did!!

The shiny black body was free of any imperfections, it's beautiful! Sounds great, frets are nice, and it stays in tune. I've played a Squier Tele since buying this, and I can honestly say that the HB is better. It sounds and feels superior, plus it's so cheap you could easily play about with pick-ups or pick-guards if you wanted to!

Guitar is the best

Excellent value, far exceeded expectations.

I've had various types of solid-body electric but never owned a tele, and at this price I couldn't resist giving one a try. After all, us lefties don't get to try other people's guitars much, right?

Well, I'm gobsmacked. The only reason I only gave 4 for the features review is that they're standard features. I can't find fault with this instrument. I didn't expect anything special for sixty quid, but the quality of the whole thing is great - the machines, bridge, fretboard and finish are all far better than I expected - even the stings are decent, and the sound is superb. The bridge pick-up reproduces that so-familiar chirpy sound perfectly, and the neck pick-up is a total surprise; really warm and smooth, quite jazzy.

I have no reservations about highly recommending this guitar, in fact it's convinced me to try the Harley Benton strat next.
