gem

if you are left handed and without too many options, this guitar is a good opportunity with its price and design.

One year on…

I have owned this guitar for a year now and I’m yet to get bored of playing it. Whatever preconceived notions you have, put them to one side and just give one of these a go.

good

I have a Fender Strat at home. I bought this for work at work. I didn't expect much, it surprised me. It looks like an expensive guitar, I don't know how it will hold up in long use, but it looks solid. It is a very good guitar in terms of price and performance. paint quality is good. The sounds coming out of the pickup are good. A solid guitar. Of course it's not a tele. It's a guitar that will surprise you if you don't expect too much. I advise.

Suits me just fine...

Well this guitar caught my eye as I love t-style guitars and I also love humbucking pickups. Not often can you find a mixture of both. Coupled with the rather eye catching all-black matt finish and quite versatile range of tones then this is a winner in my opinion. The asking price of (currently) £85 is a total steal. Such a great modding platform.

Wow

Bought this guitar as a modding platform, but was floored by how good it sounded right out of the box. neck needed minor adjustment, but I expected that. I'm done with the mods now, and for about $250 total this is an amazing guitar, couldn't be happier.

Bridge isn't installed properly

everything about this guitar is great except as far as I can tell the bridge is mounted in the wrong spot so the strings are crooked to the point that the bottom string is right on the edge of the fretboard down the length of the neck. who ever checked this over before shipping failed as I could tell it was off as soon as I took out out of the box. besides that it feels great but that just makes it unplayable.

Hits the mark!

40+ years of playing left-handed guitars this TE is a welcome addition. The HH pick-up configuration for lefty’s is rare. Harley-Benton has recognized they can balance this out with reasonable costs and variety of configurations and models.

2 weeks in the guitar plays great, Neck is straight and decent set-up.Tuners hold tune very well I was going to swap them out first but no reason right now. I’ve changed my mind in modding this out as soon as I got it. After playing it for a couple weeks I’ve decided to feel this one out for a while and enjoy it.

Cheese grater fretboard surprise!

Arrived with a bowed neck and fret sprout on BOTH sides of the neck. Not for a beginner. Tools and know how needed to make this guitar playable. Once done, it's a fine rocker with plenty of snarl!
