FRET SPROUTS

This is super gorgeous vintage looking guitar (Candy Apple Red), sounds great, and stay in tune. Some minor paint inconsistencies in the neck. Biggest thing here is the FRET SPROUTS all over the neck literally slicing through your skin(of course it’s not deep enough to bleed) makes it annoying to play. Lots of reviews(from website and youtube) says that it doesn’t have fret sprouts and that kept my hopes high and then i get fret sprouts EVERYWHERE; disappointing. So keep in my you might get what I’ve got.

Better than guitars more than double its price

I love this little tele, it’s a beauty well made and not one single blemish on its flawless finish. Sound too, I have played some Fenders that don’t sound near as good as this lovely little guitar.

Really solid good sounding Guitar

Bought this as i wanted Tele sound but on a budget. This really is quite an amazing guitar for 150 bucks. Neck is really smooth, double bound body is finished really well and the guitar came with a great setup. The sound is great and the guitar has a nice weight. Cannot fault this guitar, if you are looking for a decent Tele sound, try these guitars out.

A Really Excellent Guitar

I bought this after seeing several favourable reviews from sources I trust. I was certainly not disappointed. This really is a wonderful Telecaster copy. It looks beautiful, it sounds just like a Tele should, it plays really well and construction and finish quality on mine are beyond reproach - all for £138.00....astounding. Believe it or not, I offloaded my two other Telecasters (Squiers) because this was genuinely so much better and it's the only one I need. If you have a Tele itch that needs scratching, and aren't a brand snob, you can't go far wrong with this little gem. All I did to mine was take it for a professional setup, a few very minor tweaks to taste...even kept the original D'Addario strings it came with. It really didn't need much work at all, probably the easiest £30 my luthier guy ever made! I reluctantly loaned it to someone who had broken the headstock on his genuine Tele and he played it for a small pub gig.....no, he didn't prefer it to his Fender.....but he confessed how surprised he was by its performance. Sounded way better in his hands than it does in mine but that's the only negative experience with this guitar that I can claim. Only one thing to be aware of....the colour, Candy Apple Red, is a little bit misleading---it's red sure and it's a nice finish, but under certain light conditions it can look rather "pinkish".........just something to be aware of although it doesn't bother me and you could always buy a blue one if it's really a concern. Highly recommended. Very happy customer on this one. Get yourself one if you can.

Just great

What can I say that hasn't been said in countless youtube review videos? I just love it, bought it to re-sell it afterwards but just trying it made me realize this was a keeper. Most people change the pickups but I found these roswells to be quite lovely, the build quality is on par with the classic vibe line from squier, which is more than double the price, anything lower than that won't hold a candle to this guitar.

£135 price tag with £500 quality

If you want to be pleasantly surprised, order the TE-62DB. This guitar has a sound quality similar to that of much pricier alternatives and I'd argue is the more stylish option thanks to its charming glitter finish and classy double binding.

The build quality of this instrument is flawless, a true feat of craftsmanship has lovingly been used to create this compelling piece of kit.

If you want a stunning Telecaster without having to break the bank, you've found it here. You won't find another tele this good in every way possible in the sub £500 category!

Holds t's own against my Fender 62 Custom

I have owned a real one for thirty years or more soo I bought two of these, one red and one blue. To the red one I added a Vega-Trem to allow more expression on my instrumental tunes as I'm primarily a Strat man. I can tell you it works perfectly but . . . . , I compared the Harley Benton with the Fender and couldn't separate them for playability & tone, I had three band members listening whilst I did an A/B comparison. From a playing point I felt equally comfortable on both the Fender & the HB and my bandmates said the sound was equal too, after I played the same parts on each guitar. We were all well impressed and I didn't have a lot of setting up to do out of the box, just string heights that's all. The Harley Benton TE-62 DB, Absolutely recommended !
