Harley Benton TE-90FLT Red Blast 5-stars Reviews
This Great for the price
I have a lot of expensive guitars and this one is as good as some of them. This really is value for the money.
Harley Benton TE-90FLT Red Blast
I have owned this guitar for over a year.
Good tuning stability, spot on intonation from delivery, good low action - overall well setup on arrival. No fret buzz. Just no problems at all.
The guitar is genuinely a pleasure to play and the notes resonate really well unplugged. It has thin-ish c shaped neck that has a satin finish that for my medium sized hands is pretty much spot on. The output for me plugged in is medium - but it wasn't sold to be anything other than this.
Overall - genuinely great quality, emminently playable intermediate instrument- be prepared to swap pickups.
A BONAFIDE BEAST!
This guitar bats several leagues above it's weight class. The Filter'Tron pickups are clear and articulate. The red wood design is just so purdy! And I'm a sucker for a unique guitar design, i.e. the reverse Tele neck.
One minor flaw
Over all this is an amazing guitar and I love it so much. The color, finish, frets, neck and pickups all OUTSTANDING! An incredible value for the money! The only flaw was one of the screws on the control cavity cover broke out the wood. But, no biggy. I just glued it and clamped it until it dried. Just like perfect.
I hope it’s obvious how great this guitar is considering the only flaw was so minor. Get you one!
Amazing value
Lovely neck. Decent frets. Nice finish. Amazing sounding pick ups. Insane for the price.
I will NEVER buy another Harley Benton guitar. Here's why.
I own 6 and don't have anymore room! 2 DC customs, BM, 335, RB Bass and a TE-90. All great instruments, if they were 4 times the cost. YOU CANNOT go wrong. For you US buyers, the shipping cost from Germany is $75, for one instrument or 2. If you buy 2 guitars instead of one, you are essentially getting it for half price. Order them now, You won't regret it!
Love it!
Only thing I would love to see on this one is stainless steel frets, otherwise this is a complete instrument out of the box. I did a quick setup and replaced the string trees with graptechs (stock worked nicely though), and this one is definetly a keeper. The Roswell Filtertrons sound absolutely fantastic.
