These sound great and last surprisingly long before starting to sound dull. I prefer the sound of another brand, but I use these on my backup mandolin because they last so long.

Studying

I love it the quality, so durable but the sound is bad, is really good to study.

Best value strings

I had good expernce with HB economy strings for guitar so decided to give these a try too. I am glad I did as they are just as good as the more expensive ones.

Well named

Value strings indeed. Keep a set in the bag for spares. Twang well. Steady on the tremolo on high Es unless you plan on stocking up ? though at this price, why not? Essential backup. They'll stay in tune as well as anything else on your tuners, and hold a tune as well as you can.

Mandolin value strings

Excellent value for money and at a really good price.

It would be difficult to get these strings at a local music store without paying three times as much, good product.

I like these strings

Well, there is not much to say for these. They sound good for they price and they are pretty affordable. Unfortunately if one wants to get them, they should have a big cart, since you can't expect to buy 3¤ strings and pay 20¤ for sending the strings. But that's a different story. They seem to not last very much, which is not a very good thing, but yeah, I wouldn't complain about that, since I tend to change my strings quite often and since sometimes I break them myself, this is not such a bad thing for me. A go-for, if you're looking for good (not bad, not amazing) strings for a low price.

Really nice strings for a low price

I must say the strings were a positive surprise to me. Really nicely packed and generally look good. Plus the clear sound :)

The only negative comment on my side would be that I had to use them almost immidiately :< (the ones that I got with the mandolin were rusty and one just broke on the first day).

Sound great

I'm a big fan of Harley Benton strings they generally punch way above their weight and these are no exception. Got a shot of my friends stagg mandoline and put these on it, hold their tune great which was something I was worried about.

Great Strings

Harley Benton never disappoint, nice bright strings that work great, stay in tune and sound lovely, I'm not much of a mandolin player, but I thought I ought to restring the one I have and see what was what, definitely recommend them, they're cheap and work, go for it :)

Perfect strings for the perfect price

I bought this product to replace my old mandolin strings. For the price I did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised by how well the strings sounded. I cannot ask for anything more.

Just the Trick

these strings are very cheap but they are as good as any you can get. They last quite well and feel nice to play and sound nice as well so just what you want from some strings. cheap enought that you can easily stick another pack in your gig bag for a backup set.

mando strings

Great strings for beginners, as you get better you probably will upgrade, but for this price they are fine

The first set I put on the mandolin, the 2 firs strings broke while tuning. The 2nd set have settled nicely. When you buy cheap you have to expect the occasional duff pack i guess

Nice strings and cost next to nothing (almost)

I used to another brand which usually cost me around 10 euro., but honestly I don't find much difference between these and previous brand. I bought 10 packets of these strings and it should be enough for 5 or 6 years for my irregular use. It has great value for little money.

Clear, bright strings

I bought these to replace the original strings a relatively cheap mandolin came fitted with; the tone improved immediately. The strings are clear and bright, but as I've only recently fitted them, I don't know if they last; given the price it doesn't matter too much.

Good strings, excellent value

Well, there is not that much to say about these strings: They sound good, particularly when played for an hour or two. Not particularly nasal but rather well balanced sound. And they are very friendly to the wallet!

Nothing sounds as terrible as a mando with worn, flaking strings. So remember to keep a few sets of HB Value Strings with your instrument at all times. I certainly do so!

Better than expected

Bought this strings for an old beat up Mandolin that is more used as a decorative object and hardly ever get's played. So I did not want to spent much on strings.

I was suprised. The strings sound better than I would have expected for the price.

And they also stay in tune.

Harkey Benton Value Strings

Good strings for a backup,

Used in a few live situations and got me out of a hole.

The bottom G broke on me however on two occasions

But what more can ye expect from a set of strings at this price?
