Those are the cheapest strings you can find

If you're not a professional mandolin player and you play lets say once every week and don't need to record, go for it. They don't sound the best, but they are ok and for the price, just throw tow or three more in the basket...

they last, dont rust much, for the money they are fine

Alright, I suppose

I'm only a very occasional mandolin player. I guess these strings are not the most brilliant strings ever but they play moderately well and don't offer much tuning complications. Very good value for money, I'd say.

I like these strings

Well, there is not much to say for these. They sound good for they price and they are pretty affordable. Unfortunately if one wants to get them, they should have a big cart, since you can't expect to buy 3¤ strings and pay 20¤ for sending the strings. But that's a different story. They seem to not last very much, which is not a very good thing, but yeah, I wouldn't complain about that, since I tend to change my strings quite often and since sometimes I break them myself, this is not such a bad thing for me. A go-for, if you're looking for good (not bad, not amazing) strings for a low price.

The first set I put on the mandolin, the 2 firs strings broke while tuning. The 2nd set have settled nicely. When you buy cheap you have to expect the occasional duff pack i guess

Better than expected

Bought this strings for an old beat up Mandolin that is more used as a decorative object and hardly ever get's played. So I did not want to spent much on strings.

I was suprised. The strings sound better than I would have expected for the price.

And they also stay in tune.

Harkey Benton Value Strings

Good strings for a backup,

Used in a few live situations and got me out of a hole.

The bottom G broke on me however on two occasions

But what more can ye expect from a set of strings at this price?
