Great sounding mic all around

Amazing microphone, has a nice warm deep sound, it has more lows by default. I saw Tommy Emmanuel use this mic, and I gave it a try, and yes it's the most natural sounding mic. As he use this mic to hit the mic with a brush while doing percussion stuff, and you won't break it, still going strong, as for us too, 6 years still working great. Before Heil we were using Shure SM58, and we like this one better. Shure is more quieter mic in comparison with Heil. Someone here mentioned case is PVC, we got a leather case when we bought it. So, yes I would recommend this microphone, a great sounding mic all around.

Excellent Microphone

Can't speak highly enough of this microphone ....have owned many mic's over the years , but have to say as a vocal mic , this is by far the best and having the bass roll off switch is an added bonus .

I've been singing professionally for more than 30 years, and this is the best microphone for live work I've ever had.

It's punchy but still silky-warm, and it cuts through without being shrill or obtrusive.

If you're a vocalist and are tired of not being heard above the amplified "wall of sound" coming from behind you, then I highly recommend you try out this bad boy.

P. S. The microphone case is PVC, not leather (at least mine is).

I have tried them all, believe me. All I can say is... Deep, smooth, silky, warm and cuts through the mix without being in your face. Highly recommend.
