Not what I expected, but still very good

I may be biased as I have extensive work working on real neve consoles with the real 1073s but its a really good clone. The Q factors are a lot narrower than the original so its got a slightly punchier sound than the smooth curves i was looking for and the high shelf sits more at 10khz rather than 12 so when comparing against a 1073 directly, its a different animal slightly. That being said, for a stand alone pre and EQ it still sounds great and is slightly on the API spectrum. Its saturation from driving the pre however is absolutely superb and proper crunchy. Highly recommend.
