Good instrument

As a keyboard player wanting variety, I found this made a great change from normal synths. The extra level of expression available from a wind instrument is exciting. Recommended.

Very fun

Bought this melodica for fun and I wasn't disappointed. It's very responsive and easy to play, and makes you want to play it for hours. Although the higher notes are a bit 'shrieky', for lack of a better term, the low end sounds beautiful. It comes in a very robust case, which is a big plus for me. Great value for the money.

Good value for money

Nothing special when it comes to timbre, but don't forget it's a student melodica, as it says on the title. Classic Hohner quality, very durable design, perfect for the casual player.

Good value for the money

The melodica has a decent sound, which is pretty good for the money I paid. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. The sound is clear, but the only inconvenience is that, when you use it for one- two hours, the vapours will remain inside and the quality of the sound will change.

Great value!

Despite of low price, Hohner Student 32 is a good quality melodica for a beginner or even for an advanced player.

It's very versatile: you can play it as a normal melodica using the ergonomic curved mouthpiece or you can use it like a very compact keyboard on the table using the provided long flex mouthpiece.

The plastic hard case looks like a simple tool case but offers a very good protection.

I love the sound quality and the response is good. Hohner melodica does not require much air to produce a tone, so this is very suitable also for children. Obviously playing chords requires more breath.

There are slight tuning issues with some reeds but all in all the Hohner quality is good. Seems that there is some variation, however, because I ordered two melodicas and their response and keyboard feel is a bit different. Both are perfectly playable, just feel different.

All in all I highly recommend this instrument. With this price it's hard to find any better melodica.

Good beginner's melodica

I bought this for my wife who plays piano and she really likes it. Not the sort of instrument to play every day but we use it to add a bit of variation to recordings.
