It's a footswitch

...does exactly what it is meant to do. Seems quite solid as well.

It does the job

OK it's just a foot switch, but it has always worked, very dependable along with the H+K amp.

Great Foot Switch

It's a basic foot switch. The lights are a good touch but it would have been great if H&K include them with their amps so you don't have to buy them separately. It's made of metal and feels very solid. The cable is super long so that's a good plus right there.

Does exactly what it says on the tin

I use it with my Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 30-DFX, and it works exactly as it's supposed to - switching between Clean and Lead channels, as well as toggling Digital FX on/off. Red LEDs indicate the channel status. The cable is nice and long as well.

You get what you pay for - a basic footswitch for compatible H&K amp models.

Good Quality Foot Switch

It's quite heavy, which gives it a sturdy feeling, the cable is quite long and works perfectly with my H&K amp.

The paint and the chassis, as previously mentioned, is good but not stellar, not that most foot switches even for much more expensive amps are better.

There is no reason not to recommend it, only if you're looking for something small and light, for easy of use and sturdiness you can't go wrong with this foot switch.

Great footswitch

It does exacly what it's supposed to and is really sturdy, I could drive a truck over it and it wouldn't cause damage.

Does what you need

Matched this with a Tubemeister 18 head.

Nice small footprint on your pedal board only decision you really have to make is do you want the cable to be detachable (like the orange equivalent) this one isn't which works fine for me.

Bought to go with the new H&K Tubemeister Deluxe 20.

Does what it is supposed too and works well.

Nice long cable to reach to your pedal board.

Feels sturdy with a solid buidl, I haven't gigged it yet but am sure it would hold up well to a number of years of abuse.

It does what a foot pedal should

Sturdy build, good solid clicks on the switches. Should stand up to the rigors of live use OK. Good length cable too.

All you need

I have the Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 Head and speaker cabinet. With the foot pedal I can change channels or go for the extra Gain on the Lead channel. This gives me tremendous versatility without the need for a whole mass of pedals and I must say, the lightweight head and speaker cabinet, plus the foot pedal, mean I can travel very light. And of course being H & K the build quality is not going to let you down mid-solo.

Pricey but rock solid...

I think price is a little high for a footswitch because it is very simple mechanism but it does what it is supposed to be , it has rock solid metal casing and i bought it because i have a hughes&kettner tubemeister 18 head :)

Led feature is essential for live situations and they are bright , cable length is long enough(about 4,5 meters) , switches are sturdy and there is a padding at the bottom of the metal casing so it provides enough resistence on sillepery surfaces the only negative thing i can say maybe it would be good if the cable was detachable from box in case of any problem with cable but time will show what happens...

Good Footswitch

Does what it says on the tin, well built solid little footswitch with a nice long good quality cable. Worked flawlessly on my H&K Duel Statesman and adds a wee bit more control.

Highly recommended for its build quality, feels rugged and with its very flexible long quality cable. Thank goodness for that, I hate stiff cheap cables you could use as fishing rods in the winter!

Footswitch for Tubemeister head

I use this on a Tubemeister 36 Head.

It allows foot switching of the three channels (clean, crunch, hi-gain) with two foot switches.

Switch 1 = Clean, or Driven 9depending upon switch 2)

Switch 2 = Driven tone will be channel 2 (crunch), or 3 (hi-gain)

Works well with plenty of cable to position where you need it.

Robust metal construction.

Doesn't allow switching of power soak, or any other features, but you need to look at a MIDI footswitch to achieve that, which is a much higher cost.

Does what it needs to and well... ...

Why an original, if the copy is as good as the original! :)

This is a really satisfying switch!

I needed a foot switch for my Engl Thunder Head Amplifier to switch between Channels "Clean to Crunch" and between "Crunch to Lead".

Of course you can buy the original Engl Foot Switch Z-bla. But it costs 79 EUR instead of 29 EUR for the H&K .

Furthermore I think the H&K is not only cheaper, it is also as tough and reliable as the Engl Foot switch.

And does the H&K fullfil the same functions ?

It does! And it does a lot better! :-) Because it is angled sharper and easier to step on.

For me it was one of the best buys ever! ;-)

FYI: I am using it since one year and had no problems.

Great to use with the Tubemeister Head

I use mine with my Tubemeister - its great to control channel switching and to kick in the lead channel for solos and lead parts. The unit is very robust and plugs easily in to the back of the H&K heads.
