Ibanez RG421MSP-TSP 4-stars Reviews
A beautiful sparkle guitar with eye-catching visuals
This guitar has an over-the-top sparkle finish. Absolutely gorgeous. The mother-of-pearl binding around the body, the white pickups and cosmo-black hardware make this guitar a very distinct part of your guitar collection. It sounds great and plays great, but the fretwork could have been a bit better, as there were a few sharp edges I had to file down myself.
If you're ever gonna play in a 70s Disco band, this is the guitar for you.
...now if they'd only make them in cherry red and sapphire blue...I'd buy two more of this model.
Nice upgrade from "no-brand" guitar
This guitar really stands out of the crowd:).
Be very careful about the colour, for me it looks better in the photos, in reality it's very flashy (can be amazing if that's what you're looking for). For my taste the low-end was way too boosted, solved this through amp EQ (Orange Crush 12w amp) controls and now it sounds great, lovely clean tones and the effects on my Zoom GX1. Plenty of sustain regardless of frequency and the low end ca really bite if you like a heavier sound.
For sure it needs a setup, but factory playability & sound is already lovely. The pick-ups may be entry-level, but they really sound great. Tuning holds very well. Overall quality is ok, some minor flaws here and there (tone and volume knobs felt a little iffy, fret ends seem a little unfinished), but nothing to ruin the experience and I read everywhere that it's to be expected in this price range.
I am happy with my purchase, 5 stars for the website, packing, delivery - arrived in 6 working days from Germany to Romania.
