This is a really versatile guitar for beginners

First off let me say that i'm a beginner myself sooo yeah.

this guitar looks as good as the picture but the wood from behind is draker than the picture but it's still looks cool.

and the frets are so smooth and the guitar is well set uped i could say. the pickups are great you don't have to change them and the volume pot/tone are so smooth,

But this feels really good to play and is so fun so far,

i would highly recommend it,

Good starter guitar

There is not much you can say about SA260FM. It is typical low-end Ibanez electric guitar.

It is nicely finished, with good, bright sound from the wood (which is a bit of surprise, as the back is mahogany).

The single coil pickups are good, with proper bite and sparkle. Humbucker is rather muddy.

After some tweaking with setup, this is very affordable entry-level guitar. It’s “Made in China”, but it is still Ibanez, so the quality is there.

The worst part of it is the tremolo bridge. Better than on previous iterations of this model, but still built with low quality materials.

Just for test I replaced the tremolo with Gotoh 510 (37 mm block) and swapped the pickups for spare HSS set of Kinmans.

Oh my, I know I raised the price by 250 Euro, but this guitar started to play.

SUMMARY

Good choice for the first guitar. Very versatile. Ibanez. Leaves lot of space for further customization (if wanted). Needs some initial set-up and intonation.

Better than I expected it to be

I bought it because I needed a versatile guitar to cover a variety of genres with my cover band.

I was not disappointed. This guitar can cover almost everything with pristine cleans and smooth bluesy tones with the single coils and powerful distorted sound with the humbucker. I would like it to have a little less hot humbucker but it is not bad.

The flamed maple top looks amazing and the quality is better than what I would expect from its price point.

Seems to be holding tune very well even if you play with the tremolo.

I just had to do a quick adjustment of its setup to lower the action. The intonation was perfectly setup.

I am completely satisfied with the guitar.
