Electric Bass

Very good!
Bought this bass for a classic home setup (Sound card/Amp).
It arrived quickly as per ussual and without damage. The first thing to note is how light it is. Coming from a heavy bass (A Fender P-bass ripoff) using it for 12 years, it's stricking. First playing it.... the action was way to high (one youtuber that has one of the first review of the bass had the same thing going on, and he got an answer from Ibanez that this is because it was so long in a shipinng container). But OK... you adjust the action and neck. Might be an issue for a fresh batch (writing as of july 2021). Other that that it's flawless. Frets are even, nut is ok. Opened it up and the soldering seems fine. The neck is superb and gives a feeling that you can play really fast. The strings that are originaly on the bass are...fine, but you get dull quite fast. At least mine did in 2 weeks. The versitality of the EQ is fantastic. The bass knob is quite sensitive and works more like a gain knob. The active/passive sistem is neat. The 3 way mid switch gives you a wide variety of sounds. The pickups are just....crunchy and warm. With a compressor the sound would be reallly tight and "springy".
And the pictures don't give justice to the finish in real life.
All in all: Go for it.
