Active stage monitor

Great little monitor that punches above its weight
This is a surprisingly powerful monitor that is quite capable of providing on-stage monitoring for a loud band. The sound may not be quite the best you've ever heard (let's be honest, you wouldn't expect much bass from such a small box) but it's more than adequate - easily good enough for instrumentalists and most vocalists, though the pickiest singer might want a bit more control than the very basic tone knob. If you don't have the luxury of a large van to transport your rig, you will love the tiny size and weight, which more than makes up for any compromise in sound.
One of the best things I have ever bought!
This little speaker is great! Loud and clear but most of all super lightweight! So handy for any little acoustic gigs where you just need to be able to hear yourself! Equally loud enough to project acoustic guitar and vocals for something like a wedding ceremony.
I have marked one star off for features as I wish the input would be selectable from line level to mic level using a separate switch as sometimes it can be a bit annoying when you want to use the XLR output on your desk to plug in but you don't have an adapter cable with you. Definitely not a deal breaker...just something to be aware of.
And one mark off for sound as there isn't a lot of bass...but then I don't think anyone buying a speaker this size should be too concerned about that!
If you want a bigger bass buy a bigger speaker!
All round great investment and if it broke I would instantly go and buy another!
Very good monitor!
This is great tiny little box, very loud! Perfect for smaller venues.
Perfect for singers on small stages. If line level signal, use only the jack input.
It reproduce the voice very nicely and loud. No bass sound, but thats ok if the singer is close to bass player or drum player monitors, and it is very light weight and handy.
Beware that if you feed it with line level signal, e.g. from mixer output, you have to use the jack input (a not balanced) in the monitor. The xlr input is high gain and only for direct microphone input. Therefore, only four features stars.
Low impact Wedges
Purchased for The Guards Chapel London and used on the larger productions. These stage monitors provide a low visual impact whilst getting the job done. I would prefer that the Line Level input sensitivity were a bit lower; when driving them from the Midas line O/P I have to keep things right down. Sound Good. Well made. Just the right size. More than loud enough.
