It happens to work well for me

I almost sent this little one back… but kept it because it does a few things really well and simply: it is a nice preface to an auto wah or filter to juice it up. It drives another gain or drive really well. It is easy to use. I wouldn’t use it as a clean boost, the Katana is better to my ears. I wouldn’t use it as a primary transparent drive- Tumnus or Plumes are a bit more meaty. But as a first pedal there to kick another gain into gear, it works wonders. A keeper.

Great Booster for Solos

Sounds brighter them the Xotic EP Booster, with less low-mid boost.

More balanced, and can go from clean boost to really pushing your amp into almost fuzz territory.

Use it on 11o'clock as a Solo Booster, and those sweet harmonics jump right in.
