Great string set

I had heard good things about these strings so I finally decided to buy a couple of sets replacing the Martins (MSP4100 phsphor bronze) I have always used on my Guild D-55. They are very balanced and warm sounding with good sustain. Exactly what I was looking for and definitely a perfect match for this particular guitar. Very happy with them!

Probably the best

Make sure you try these strings before you settle. These are well balanced strings either for pick or fingerstyle. First time I put them on my Taylor I was woaed.... The Richest sound and the right intonation. Very nice product

Best strings I know

These are by far the best strings for Acoustic Guitar that I have tried. Nothing else ever for me. Great tone, durability, and comfort. Nothing to complain about, just plain super. Try them ! You will not be disappointed.

Great strings for martin guitars

Put this on a martin om28, and it gives that great warm sound as expected.

(had tried one of my favorite acoustic strings before, the elixir 80/20, and on the Martin om28 was a huge disappointment!). The John Pearse made the tremendous and unique martin tone sparkle.

Great strings!

Had these for quite a few weeks on my Taylor and the sound is still great! Very full, but not muffled. My new go to acoustic guitar strings.

Simply the best I've tried

Fantastic strings for a player in search of a full, ringing and crisp sound with plenty of bottom and resonance, too. Everything is just so different with Pearse strings it's hard to believe the strings are not expensive at all, nor are they that different in appearance either. I don't know how they do it, but I'm happy to enjoy the results of a fine design. The strings don't last in their prime as long as coated, Elixir-type strings, but with a sound like this, it's hard to go back to anything else. Coated strings also tend to suffer from extensive use of finger picks, which makes John Pearse the perfect alternative for me.

Highly recommended

I would recommend these strings to anyone. They are the choice of top luthier Jason Kostal on all his guitars. My Kostal came with them and now I won't use anything else on my steel strung guitars. They are vibrant and balanced, hold their tuning and work well with open tunings.
