Good range of features but build quality so so

On paper the materials used look good.

The guitar top / sides / neck finish is pretty good. The locking mechanism is a little cheap looking / sounding and there are careless elements to the construction such as wonky truss rod screws. The locking hole on the neck seems hand filed but not very well.

The 'Handcrafted in China' nonsense irritated me - hand crafted is only a selling point if the 'craftsmen' are highly skilled. At this price point and quality it's Made in China and nothing more.

The sound is quite loud but boxy, but the bigger problem is I just didn't find it a pleasure to play. I have a Taylor GS Mini and the materials and finish on that is much better for not much more.

I think this will work fine as a campfire guitar to hand round, but if you appreciate the finish and feel of an instrument while playing (or you've got a decent guitar at home) then spend more and go for something better finished. I'm going to try a Furch Little Jane and failing that, save up for a Brunner Compact.
