K&M 18810 Black 5-stars Reviews
Absolutely would recommend this item. The integration into my home studio provided great flexibility in my overall workflow. The height adjustment knobs are solid and allow great ergonomic adjusting options, no matter if you are using 61 Key or in my case an 88 Key. I can't imagine anyone finding it difficult to get their keyboards to a comfortable height whether standing or sitting. I would definitely buy this again and not even consider another stand. I have used many different stands, but this is by far my favorite. Also not to mention, cable management is really flexible with the integration of a laptop using the stand K&M 18813 Black MKII. Really great product!
Great stand!
It's a great strong and affordable keyboard stand, a recommendation to anyone who wants a real keyboard stand!
Best stand ever
I've used a few X, Z and C stands before. None of them were super stable.
For my digital piano, this time, I wanted something rock solid.
Couldn't be happier with my K&M 18810. Even bought a second one for my other gear.
Super super stable, doesn't lean/inclide with weight (have my CP4 stage on it), super easy to assemble and adjust.
If you plan to move it around (and bring to your gigs/shows) it may be a bit of a problem.
Even if reassembled in the least space consuming configuration it could still be difficult to transport. Check some pictures/videos online to see what I mean.
Also have to say that some of its accessories (probably the ones not many people buy) can be a bit hard to find.
This wasn't a problem for me though.
Works as expected
Really sturdy piece of equipment. Works as expected, no flaws, and easy mount.

Very good !
Stable, perfect for studio, maybe for transport a little uncomfortable.
Easy to store, very simple and beautiful, and the most important part, nice and stable.
I wish I'd bought this earlier
I gig with this stand with a twin keyboard set-up (Kawai MP-7 beneath, Roland D-50 on top) and ? contrary to the cautionary notes from some (non-gigging) reviewers on this site ? it's a doddle.
The top keyboard extenders attach/detach in seconds via sprung bolts; the heavy arms the lower keyboard rest on can be turned through 90º to align with the body of the frame; the frame attaches to the legs with sprung bolts and set-up/break-down is again a matter of seconds.
Stability is excellent, footprint is no problem, height adjusts to my choice? comfortably the best two-keyboard stand I've ever used.
Can take the weight of the studio and not just the keyboard
I was not sure about this stand as it was considerable more expensive than the basic stands, but I am glad I went for this stand.
The build quality is second to none, probably over engineered ten fold, but certainly give you peace of mind that it will not collapse. Fully adjustable and very very sturdy.
I have not used it to gig, but the fact that the bottom feet can go 90 degrees would make moving it around in transit quite easy.
For me it is a permanent fixture in the studio and the only concern would be that on stage it could be knocked off the top at the keyboard just sits on the tops, I might be temped to put a bungee cord over the top of the keyboard and round the stand while away from it, but again that goes for many keyboard stands.
There would seem to be a large number of 'bolt on' additions to the basic stand which is good.
Once set up there is little to no chance of it moving about, it is steady as a rock and out of the keyboard stands I have purchased in the past, this is probably the best yet.
Great purchase, very satisfied, and highly recommended.
K&M
K&M=all you need! reliable an good.
Very sturdy and well made
What a great stand - sturdy enough for my new Yamaha p255 stage piano. Very pleased with it and very quick delivery too.
Stabil und sicher, and it fits under the table"
A high quality keyboard stand, feels perfectly sturdy with my rather heavy Doepfer 88-keys masterkeyboard... I bought it because I wanted to fit the keyboard under the main computer desk and needed some room for my legs, all cross stands take away precious space but this is super! The range of adjustable heights is also quite impressive..
A keyboard stand for lifetime
A bit expensive but is worth every penny. Holds your expensive keyboard very secure. Top class company. I'm very happy with it and I keep coming back for more Add On Accessories.

An excellent stand. Highly stable and well machined. Perhaps too heavy for gigging but perfect for home or studio use. One word of caution - if you consider accessory item K&M 18813-011 (2nd tier keyboard/computer support arms) be aware that you will need a relatively slim primary keyboard. The support arms are 400mm long but the preset connecting points means that there is only 130mm on the trailing side before the arms turn 90 degrees and go up. If you have a wide primary keyboard that is not enough trailing length.
Love this product
I bought this support for my Yamaha Moxf8 and it really is easy to put together. It is robust and in general, a very classy piece of kit. I bought it together with the K&M 18813-11-55 accessory which serves as my pc support or a second keyboard ( fully adjustable ).
It truly is worth paying the money for something that you can trust and not worry that your keyboard is going to end up on the floor which often happens with one of those X things, plus the more sturdy the support the less vibration and wear and tear on your treasured keys, which will give it a longer life!
Best for home studio or private use and not for gigging as the product is not a fold down or dismantled in a couple of mins.
K&M are one of the best manufacturers out there and continue to be innovative and always take into account the musicians needs.
Sturdy keyboard stand
Pros:
- adjustable height
- modular, can adjust how close or far apart to place the keyboard support arms (there are a few holes to choose from)
- spacious and lots of legroom, easy to play while seated as no obstructing X-shaped legs
- sturdy and no rocking or vibration while playing
- construction feels solid and of good quality
Cons:
- metal legs are solid, quite heavy, need to be careful during assembly (it toppled only lightly onto my toe, yet was solid and heavy enough to cause a bruise)
- base legs protrude out quite a bit at 57cm (longer than the keyboard support arms 33cm), need to have sufficient space to place the stand; in my case, it was not a problem :-)
Sturdy affordable stand
This is by far the best and sturdiest keyboard stand I've ever owned. Compared to my X-styled stands it's steady as a rock. The stand is shipped in parts and is quite easy to assemble, it took me about 10 minutes to unpack and set it up. I wouldn't recommend this on gigs as a mobile tour stand though, unless you have a passion for assembling and disassembling (or have a really big tour van). I use this as a home stand for my Roland RD-700GX and the size is perfect. I used to outermost screw holes for adjusting the top arms to fit the full size of my keyboard. As for adjusting the height, right now I'm using screw hole nr 2 from the bottom. If you're looking for a stand with a really low keyboard height (like in your lap) this may not be the best option. On the other hand there's plenty adjusting height upwards, which should be great for standing players. The look and feel is great as with all K&M stands, and overall I couldn't be more happy with this purchase.
Very stable and flexible
It goes low enough height for normal sitting position as well as standing.
Very flexible with other optional addons for second level keyboards and laptops etc.
Sturdy and good quality feel.
Easy to take apart for minimum space consumption.
Excellent Stand
After having experienced the instability of X-Stands for years, I decided to pay a bit more and go for another design. This stand is pure quality, and is extremely well-built. Would recommend it to anyone. Nice thing about it is that its also unobstrusive and you have plenty of leg room while playing. It is also height adjustable, and the metals holding the keyboard can also be adjusted horizontally (going from the outside of the stand to the inner part of the stand). Package also includes rubber stickers so your instrument doesn't move uselessly and moreover doesn't scratch. All in all, well worth the price difference! A stand which will serve its purpose for many years to come. Very satisfied!
Stable and good quality.
I wanted a very stable keyboard stand that I could comfortably sit at with a stool, so that ruled out the X-style stands. I ordered the K&M 18810 because it appeared to meet my needs at a reasonable price.
When it arrived it exceeded my expectations. This is a solid, good quality, well engineered stand. The materials and construction are excellent and the way it goes together is simple and strong. Assembly is easy and there is plenty of adjustment available for height and positioning the supports for different keyboard lengths.
Although this is not a lightweight fold-away design I would consider gigging with it. The stand is solid but there is nothing to stop the keyboard from being pushed off the top, so I would also consider securing it with a couple of long re-usable cable ties or Velcro straps if there was any risk of that happening.
I matched this stand with a Millenium KB-2001 folding bench seat, which is as rugged as the stand and pretty much the same as the more expensive K&M 14066 seat, as long as you don't mind the fact that the covering is vinyl whereas the K&M is fabric covered.
Very satisfied. I think this well made stand will last a lifetime.
Excellent Keyboard Stand!
I bought this stand to hold my midi keyboard, Arturia Minibrute and laptop stand.
The build quality is excellent and has good height adjustment if required.
The main thing i like about this stand is that it can go low enough to be played whilst sitting down.
The only downside perhaps is that it is quite heavy and may not suit everyone for live situations. It also doesn't fold and will take up quite a lot of room when transporting it.
However, I highly recommend this keyboard stand.
