Great cheap stand

Took a little while until I figured out where everything was supposed to be, but now it's a great stable stand that can easily support my mic.

German quality

I use only K&M stands in the studio and live, and compared to other brands I find them the best. Easy to use and good build quality.

I like the tilt mechanism.

Great!

Very well build stands, reassuringly heavy and sturdy in practice too.

A very good mic with adjustable height.

Very good quality and stability. What i like the most is that i can adjust the height as i like and that i can fold it to save some space in the room when not recording.

I regularly use this stand for gigs. Very tough and flexible positioning. Would not hesitate to buy again.

Great robust option

Upgraded all my stands to these now from cheaper ones - makes a big difference, the build quality of this unit really shows. They're versatile and the the knobs give a very definite hold. They also don't seem to suffer as much slippage as cheaper stands

Why buy another mic stand?

When you can have these, there's no need to buy budget mic stands. They're really robust and well built - I've used them in both live and studio environments and they've never let me down. They're easy to adjust and pack away - like the best bits of gear, you don't notice them because they're great.

Really solid.

Solid mic stand. The arm pivot manufacture is stiff and solid. The base is on the heavy side (good) and overall feels well planted.

I have the mic at a specific angle pointing downwards, there's the mic and a pop killer installed so the tip of the stand rod is rather on the heavy side and after two days the pivot hasn't moved a bit, the stand kept the angle intact.

Heavy duty quality stand

This is a top-quality piece of equipment. It's made from good solid steel which means it can stand up to the rigours of live use. The quality of the metal also means that it is heavy enough not to fall over even when a heavy mic (a Shure SM58 with heavy-duty XLR cable) is attached and the stand is at its full extension. No need to gaffer-tape the legs of this stand to the floor!

The fittings are also top quality. The clutch to adjust the height feels great. The screw fixings to hold the sliding units also feel solid and there is no feeling that they are about to come undone and become loose. With two different screw fittings for mic clips, this is everything you need in a stand for live or studio use.

Great stand

I've bought a few of these guys over the years and never had any issue with them. Most of them are in a rehearsal room and are getting used quite a lot but they seem to be able to withstand the punishment. :)
