Sturdy stand

I have been looking for a replacement for a stand I had stolen (unknown brand) which was a really sturdy stand with four short feet.

This is come the closest to it, although has a slightly bigger footprint.

We are going to be friends for a long time.

Comprehensive adjustments, footrest friendly whilst playing without bending it out - it’s a proper stand.

The best one

To me it is the best series, at least for the price. You will never see a mic dropping slowly. Once tighten, it holds in place.

Some reserve though concerning the vertical mount that is not easy to tighten, but still it holds in place

I like the fact that you can rotate the handle to the angle you want (you can pull it). I personally always set it to the top, so I can place the cable inside, or even headphones (but I much prefer a specific headphones holder for this as it it less risky).

Well made, easy to adjust, well balanced and stable. Outstanding quality and value for money.

solid

I recently upgraded to two of these for duo and band use to replace some old wobbly worn out ones.

Solid, sturdy, look good and no gradual lowering of mics during the gig. They look and feel like they are going to last! My only criticism is the weight, but i think that is part of the answer!

Very good mic stand!

I bought a pair of those for recording of choir/orchestra in AB setup. That's what I use them for mostly, though all kinds of uses have come by ...

This stand is more expensive than many others, but there is a good reason for that. They are sturdy, stable, reliable.

Most of the time I use them with the boom completely extended upwards, in line with the bottom part. This results in a total height of +/-3m. I never hesitate to put even quite expensive microphones on it. It's just very stable.

Pros:

- Very reliable

- Stable

- Heavy (which is needed to balance heavier microphones)

- The rotation clutch is a bit special but makes it sturdier than a standard mic stand. The boom never came down even with heavier mic's

Cons:

- The price (though worth it for this kind of product)

It would be perfect but has some stupid flaws

Everything in this stand is perfect but it has some flaws that sometimes its making me having some regrets buying it.

Is hard to make it lock in the vertical axis, not only because the hand screws are not easy to handle (are even smaller and uncomfortable than my cheap mic stands) but because the locking is not intuitive to achieve, you must somehow bolt the two hand screws in a way that tightens the vertical axis so it stays stable, even if you do so in a small period of time you will find that it rotates again, its so annoying that i have give up doing that. Given the high price this is a huge fail.

Just perfect.

These stands are worth their money. I presume they will last a very long time.
