Sturdy stand

I have been looking for a replacement for a stand I had stolen (unknown brand) which was a really sturdy stand with four short feet.

This is come the closest to it, although has a slightly bigger footprint.

We are going to be friends for a long time.

Comprehensive adjustments, footrest friendly whilst playing without bending it out - it’s a proper stand.

The best one

To me it is the best series, at least for the price. You will never see a mic dropping slowly. Once tighten, it holds in place.

Some reserve though concerning the vertical mount that is not easy to tighten, but still it holds in place

I like the fact that you can rotate the handle to the angle you want (you can pull it). I personally always set it to the top, so I can place the cable inside, or even headphones (but I much prefer a specific headphones holder for this as it it less risky).

Excellent

Well made, easy to adjust, well balanced and stable. Outstanding quality and value for money.

solid

I recently upgraded to two of these for duo and band use to replace some old wobbly worn out ones.

Solid, sturdy, look good and no gradual lowering of mics during the gig. They look and feel like they are going to last! My only criticism is the weight, but i think that is part of the answer!

Very good mic stand!

I bought a pair of those for recording of choir/orchestra in AB setup. That's what I use them for mostly, though all kinds of uses have come by ...

This stand is more expensive than many others, but there is a good reason for that. They are sturdy, stable, reliable.

Most of the time I use them with the boom completely extended upwards, in line with the bottom part. This results in a total height of +/-3m. I never hesitate to put even quite expensive microphones on it. It's just very stable.

Pros:

- Very reliable

- Stable

- Heavy (which is needed to balance heavier microphones)

- The rotation clutch is a bit special but makes it sturdier than a standard mic stand. The boom never came down even with heavier mic's

Cons:

- The price (though worth it for this kind of product)

Just perfect.

These stands are worth their money. I presume they will last a very long time.

The one and only

We use this stand in our church every week and across various church events.

Having purchased cheaper alternatives which did not last, we purchased one of these to test it out first. The build quality is first class, and can with stand the general wear and tear you would expect.

We have since purchased another 10 stands, all to the same high standard.

Does exactly what it should

Stays in place. Doesn't fall over. Short telescopic boom a boon.

Solid mic stand

This is a good quality, well designed mic stand. The chunky angle adjustment lever is excellent and the cable clips are a nice touch too. There is good ground clearance under the centre when standing which is handy on uneven surfaces. Bottom locking nut feels solid (unlike some) and this is usually the first thing to go so it's something I always check first! the legs are sturdy and slightly shorter than most of my other stands but is a good thing when you trying to fit monitors and pedal boards and footswitches around the base of you stand. The boom is two piece telescopic, I would have preferred a single piece (less parts to break) but this is a minor drawback.

Build quality: 10/10

Ease of use: 9/10 ( looses one point for the boom)

Value: 9/10 (it only gets 10 if it's free!)

Worth it.

Cheap mic stands are a false economy. After going through various floppy stands with broken legs and knobs that wouldn't tighten I decided to pay a bit more and get some good quality stands. These are the ones, great for holding heavy mics and very sturdy and solid. My next purchase will be a couple more of these.
